Undertaker and Edge Predictions for WWE SmackDown's 900th Episode
Undertaker and Edge will have vastly different agendas when they step onto the stage on the 900th edition of WWE SmackDown.
Edge is poised to help promote Sunday's Survivor Series pay-per-view. The Deadman will instead plant seeds for a showdown much further down the road.
Raw welcomed Goldberg and Brock Lesnar on Monday night to hype Survivor Series. The blue brand will counter with a pair of megastars.

WWE announced on its official website that both Edge and Undertaker will appear on the Nov. 15 SmackDown in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Speculation swirled as soon as the news emerged. What does WWE have in mind for these returning grapplers? The answer is clearer for The Rated-R Superstar.
Edge will host a "Cutting Edge" segment, as SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon revealed on Twitter:
It looks as if McMahon, AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton will all get up close and personal with Edge. PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson noted "the team representing SmackDown against Raw at Survivor Series" will be his guests.
The former WWE world champion is sure to use his airtime for promotional purposes. He'll have a number of things to shill. Expect Edge to plug the WWE Network-exclusive The Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness and mention his recurring role on Vikings.
Beyond that, WWE is bound to use his presence as a means to boost a current star.
Before Styles captains the blue brand at Survivor Series, he will get in Edge's face and engage in a verbal confrontation with The Rated-R Superstar. This segment is an excellent place to showcase Styles' heel ways by way of insulting, berating and threatening a Hall of Famer.
That will also give Styles' rival, Dean Ambrose, a chance to shut him up with Dirty Deeds, creating a memorable moment between enemies ahead of their partnership at Survivor Series.
The focus for Undertaker will be aimed at the future.
WWE isn't going to toss The Phenom on the Survivor Series card at the last minute. He's not going to pop up for the first time since defeating McMahon at WrestleMania 32 in April without a bigger purpose than boosting the ratings for the 900th SmackDown.
When Undertaker drifts into the Mohegan Sun Arena on Tuesday night, it will be a means to lay the early groundwork for WrestleMania 33.
At 51 years old and after multiple surgeries, it's clear Undertaker's time in the ring is limited. His swan song is sure to be on WWE's biggest stage, and Tuesday will mark the prelude for that ballad.
Undertaker will call out the man he's set to face at The Showcase of the Immortals next year. Look for him to demand John Cena to clash with him to prove who is this generation's absolute best.
It's a dream match that WWE won't want to pass up, one that couldn't happen this year, thanks to Cena's shoulder surgery.
Cena won't be around in Pennsylvania, as he has been away shooting American Grit. In that way, the early stages of this match will mirror what WWE did with Goldberg and Lesnar—namely, keep the two titans separate during the opening chapters of their story.
By the end of Tuesday's SmackDown, WWE will have left its fanbase buzzing about that potential WrestleMania showdown, as well as all the subplots powering Survivor Series.
The blue brand's big-time guests will have a major impact on viewership, too. SmackDown is set to garner its best rating since the WWE draft in July.
