WWE SmackDown Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from November 1
The Nov. 1 episode of WWE SmackDown Live saw the continued build to Survivor Series, where the blue brand will wage war with Raw over brand superiority.
On Tuesday night, SmackDown announced its team of five Superstars who will look to bring the victory home for general manager Daniel Bryan and commissioner Shane McMahon.
However, none of the Superstars selected were able to secure "biggest winner" status.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
No, that honor went to a Superstar whose dismay over not being selected allowed him to flex his promo skills and acting abilities as he came face-to-face with one of his bosses.
| American Alpha | Winners | Still not completely back on track, the team did cash its ticket to Survivor Series, where a win would do it wonders in re-establishing credibility. |
| Baron Corbin | Winner | One of five Superstars named to the Survivor Series SmackDown team, he could be the breakout star before all is said and done. |
| Natalya | Loser | Coach? Not good enough to actually make the team, Natalya is given a "participation trophy," for lack of a better description. |
Biggest Winner: The Miz
The former intercontinental champion continued his stellar character work in 2016 on Tuesday night, verbally lambasting Bryan for his decision not to add him to Team SmackDown.
He spewed venom, including accusations that the former WWE champion is no longer good at anything. The Miz was not amused at the perceived lack of respect from his superior and, like all great heels, hid behind his wife when things intensified even slightly.
He wrapped his arm around the neck of Maryse, resting his chin on her shoulder and taunting Bryan with every word that left his mouth.
It was the perfect visual. Despite arguing that he was tough and that he did not fear competition, he hid behind his wife the first time a verbal confrontation with his boss appeared imminent.
Miz has consistently delivered some of the best performances of his career this year, both from a character standpoint and between the ropes. His feud with Bryan, which has not featured a single match, has been among the best produced by the company in quite some time.
The culmination should be outstanding, but for now, enjoy the slow build to an extraordinary culmination.
Biggest Loser: Curt Hawkins
Do you remember all of those vignettes hyping the return of Curt Hawkins to SmackDown? Sure, they were putrid productions, but they at least hinted that the former tag team champion would have a role on the blue brand.
Months later, he makes infrequent appearances and has been embarrassed repeatedly by WWE Creative.
On Tuesday night, he accepted Dolph Ziggler's open challenge for an Intercontinental Championship match. The wrestling world was quickly reminded of Hawkins' place in things, as he ate a superkick and was beaten in mere seconds.
With that, Hawkins became a jobber on par with The Spirit Squad and The Headbangers—a star returning to WWE whose realistic chances of a career renaissance are nonexistent.
