The Redskins announced Jackson is available to play in Week 11 against Green Bay.

Latest on Jackson's Practice Status

Friday, Nov. 18

The Redskins announced Jackson was a full participant in practice on Friday.

Jackson Has Struggled to Make Impact This Season

In his third season in Washington, Jackson has been relatively silent as a downfield threat. He is averaging a career-low 13.9 yards per reception and has just one touchdown in eight games.

Much of that has to do with a more conservative game plan with Kirk Cousins under center. Cousins has preferred throwing to Jamison Crowder and Pierre Garcon underneath over throwing downfield bombs. It's hard to argue with the results, as Washington is again contending for a playoff spot.

Jackson talked about his frustration with this season, per Mike Jones of the Washington Post:

"

I was talking to [team president] Bruce Allen today, and I was like, "I know things aren't hitting," but as a wide receiver, that's what you want—you want to get the ball. You want to score a touchdown. You want to catch long passes. Things of that nature, you want to do. I just want to earn—whatever it is I'm getting paid, I want to earn it. I want to produce for my team.

"

Washington's offense opened up last season when Jackson returned during the second half, and it'll be interesting to see if it is able to do the same now that he is in the lineup again.

Even if Jackson isn't catching passes, the threat of him going downfield makes things easier for Crowder and Garcon.
