Donovan Jeter Flips Commitment from Notre Dame to Michigan: Details and Reaction
The Michigan Wolverines have built one of the top defenses in college football, and that could continue with the addition of defensive end Donovan Jeter.
The 4-star recruit announced his commitment Sunday following an official visit to the school:

According to Scout, Jeter is the No. 30-ranked defensive end in the country and the top player at his position in Pennsylvania. He is the No. 300-ranked player overall in the 2017 class.
The 6'6", 261-pound lineman originally committed to Notre Dame but reopened his recruitment Tuesday.
Jeter told ESPN's Tom VanHaaren why he made the switch:
In addition to interest from Michigan and Notre Dame, Jeter was also heavily recruited by Pittsburgh, Oklahoma and Penn State and received offers from almost two dozen programs around the country.
Additionally, the Wolverines' success in 2016 likely played a big part in his decision. The squad is 7-0 under head coach Jim Harbaugh and sits at No. 2 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and Amway Coaches Poll.
Notre Dame is 2-5 after coming into the year with high expectations.
Michigan's 2017 recruiting class ranks in the top 10 nationally, per Scout, with 18 players committed to the program.
