The Magic acquired Meeks from the Pistons for a second-round pick this offseason, and he was expected to be an offensive spark plug off the bench behind Evan Fournier.
Meeks may still be able to fill that role, but the severity of his injury isn't yet clear. A similar ailment cost him 79 games in 2015-16, but since it is still early in the offseason, there is still a chance for Meeks to be a factor for the Magic during the upcoming campaign.
