Barcelona Transfer News: Juventus Reject Offer for Paulo Dybala, Top Rumours
Rumours have emerged that Barcelona have offered Juventus €90 million for Argentina sensation Paulo Dybala, but the enormous potential deal has been conclusively dismissed by the Serie A champions.
Dybala starred for the Old Lady in his first year in Turin, triggering the huge bid from the Liga kingpins after a difficult season in the UEFA Champions League, according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport (h/t Tom Maston of Goal).
The 23-year-old hitman has been a huge success after his transfer from Palermo 12 months ago, scoring 23 goals in all competitions, per Maston. Barca will now have to revisit their offer if they want to pair the young attacker with compatriot Lionel Messi.

The Camp Nou giants need sufficient cover and competition for Luis Suarez in the striker's role, and Dybala would offer coach Luis Enrique a pacey alternative as he looks to strengthen a squad short on numbers and depth.
According to Juve’s official website, the club paid the Rosanero a fee of €32 million for the striker, but Barca's offer would see the Italians make a staggering return on their investment.
Dybala recently alluded to Tuttosport (h/t Football Italia) that he would love to spend his future replicating the achievements of Juve's iconic figures:
"Could I become like Alessandro Del Piero and Gigi Buffon? Yes, I can picture that. Their story fascinates me: 20 years with the same shirt makes you a monument. I cannot promise it, because this is not only up to me, but it would be wonderful to win what they’ve won and stay at Juventus forever.

Meanwhile, Barca's chances of tempting Hector Bellerin to return to Catalonia appear to have been dashed after the Masia youth product admitted he is happy at Arsenal.
Marc Williams of the Daily Star quoted Bellerin saying England is now his home, and his family are settled in the country: "I say this every year, for me my home is in England. I have lived in England for many years, I have my family there, I'm living with my girlfriend. I am very happy there, so I do not see anywhere else other than Arsenal."

The 21-year-old full-back appeared 42 times for the Gunners in the Premier League and Europe last term, according to WhoScored.com, and was named in the PFA Team of the Year.
Dybala is developing into one of the most potent attackers on the planet, but a switch to Barca might be premature at present.
He needs to continue to play regular first-team football with Juve and accumulate the experience needed before he makes the jump up the ladder.
A long spell on the Barcelona bench would destroy his form and confidence accumulated in 2015-16.
Dybala could quickly follow in the footsteps of Argentina international Sergio Aguero and become a hit in Spain, but further time in Turin would be the wisest decision.
