2016 New York Giants Schedule: Full Listing of Dates, Times and TV Info
The New York Giants have missed the playoffs in each of the past four seasons and are hoping a change in leadership leads to improved results for the 2016 NFL season.
Former offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo has taken over head coaching duties for Tom Coughlin, a two-time Super Bowl winner who led the storied franchise to some of its most epic heights. Coughlin has big shoes to fill, but New York has faith McAdoo was the best in-house solution.
With a couple of marquee free-agent additions and a draft haul still to come, the Giants' outlook is rather promising.

Analysis
The reason "interesting" is the adjective used to describe the current state of the G-Men in the last complete sentence is because they've been both hard to trust and to count out in recent years.
A playoff berth is long overdue for a top-flight quarterback like Eli Manning, who turned 35 this January and has yet to miss a start since taking over under center.
Manning has an elite weapon in wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and the Giants would be wise to find a playmaker in the early rounds of the draft.
What provides more hope for New York this season is the bold strategy general manager Jerry Reese deployed in free agency. Reese landed former Miami Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon and Los Angeles Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins.
After the Giants finished 30th last season with only 23 team sacks and dead last against the pass, they landed an explosive pass-rusher in Vernon and a magnificent cover corner to address those shortcomings.
With marginally better play in the secondary and considerable contributions from Vernon, New York's defense should better complement its offense and result in a marked improvement from a 6-10 record in 2015.
Pivotal Matchups

The NFC East appears to be a wide-open division, considering Washington claimed the title last season with a meager 9-7 mark. Those contests will be critical as always, but the marquee matchup in London with the Los Angeles Rams stands out.
Going across the pond in the middle of the season will be a test for the G-Men. It could either provide a refreshing change of scenery if they're struggling or stunt momentum if they're off to a hot start.
New York's road slate features a trip to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers and also a clash with the Minnesota Vikings.
Playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field figures to be an enormous challenge as well. If the Giants get through that stretch with at least two wins, though, they should be right in the thick of the NFC playoff hunt.
With a cornerback tandem of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Jenkins, a pass-rushing duo in Vernon and Jason Pierre-Paul and continuity on offense with Manning and McAdoo, there aren't any excuses for New York in 2016.
Pressure will be on McAdoo to succeed right away, but a favorable divisional schedule and considerable improvements on defense should ease his transition to the leader of the locker room.
