O'Sullivan continued his stupendous form on Saturday, playing some of the best snooker of his career. Perry also produced a high standard of snooker, but the icon appeared untouchable throughout the evening session.
Here are the scores from the semi-final matches:

Semi-Final Recap
If Perry had been facing any other player on the planet, his form would have likely led to a victory. However, O'Sullivan is in a different class and looks like a beast every time he approaches the cue ball.
The Rocket edged the opening frame to take the lead, but Perry let his intentions be known with a superb 139 clearance to level.
O'Sullivan answered with a break of 124, but Perry continued the back-and-forth nature of the match, sinking a 92.
However, the mercurial genius flexed his muscle and produced an outrageous run, delivering breaks of 101, 94 and 88 to capture three quick frames, which left him one short of victory at 5-2.
World Snooker shared highlights of the five-time world champion's acceleration of control:
Perry showed his class once again and staged a comeback in the eighth frame, but O'Sullivan's safety game suffocated the Fen Potter. However, Perry crept over the line to grab the frame and make it an intriguing conclusion.
The Rocket was in no mood to hang around and quickly cleared up to earn the win, progressing to the final 6-3.
Robertson continued his wonderful form in Cardiff on Saturday as he swept aside Allen after a closely fought match.
Allen began the contest and scored breaks of 77 and 55 to capture a 2-0 lead, but the Australian star edged the third to grab a foothold.
World Snooker highlighted Allen's opening gambit:
Two breaks of 54 and 51 sealed the fourth frame for Robertson as he began to dominate at the table, and Allen failed to respond despite his good start.
Robertson showed his best break building and quickly moved to a 5-2 lead, leaving Allen in his seat with individual breaks of 75, 82 and 72 and propelling himself toward the finish line.
However, Allen pulled off one of the clearances of the tournament as it looked like he was about to be eliminated, scoring a 124 to trail 5-3.
Former world champion Shaun Murphy was impressed by the standard of snooker on show:
Allen added a further frame to make it 5-4, as the Thunder looked on nervously at his opponent's comeback.
The Aussie finally made it back to the table in the 10th frame and finished the match off, winning 66-40 to book his place in the final.
O'Sullivan and Robertson were the two players that everyone wanted to see in the final of the Welsh Open, and Sunday's event will not disappoint.
The Rocket has produced amazing runs of form over his 24-year career, but he is arguably at the peak of his powers in 2016.
O'Sullivan's Australian opponent is one of the few men on the planet who can hang with him when he is in this mood, so the final promises to be a classic.
