Barclays U21 Premier League 2016: Arsenal vs. Blackburn Result, Updated Fixtures
Arsenal survived a late comeback from Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday to seal a 3-2 victory that moved them into second place in the U21 Premier League Division Two.
Jeff Reine-Adelaide netted an early opener to give the hosts the lead at London Colney before Donyell Malen seemed to have effectively wrapped up the points with just over half an hour to go.
Reine-Adelaide's second looked to be just the icing on the cake for Arsenal, but it turned out to be vital when two late goals from Lewis Mansell made for a nervy finish.

Tuesday Recap

Arsenal's goalscorers were unquestionably the key men for Arsenal on Tuesday as they were involved in most of their best attacking play.
French-born Reine-Adelaide, 17, opened the scoring after just six minutes, pouncing on a loose ball in the penalty area and firing home.
On 20 minutes, Blackburn's Scott Wharton headed just wide of the post before Mikel Arteta forced a smart save from Ryan Crump at the other end.
The Rovers stopper had several other saves to make before the break, but the Gunners could not force a second and remained 1-0 ahead at half-time.
Malen netted Arsenal's second in the 58th minute, firing a shot into the back of the net after Reine-Adelaide's initial effort was again palmed away by Crump.
The 16-year-old Dutchman then turned provider for the third goal four minutes later, cutting the ball back for Reine-Adelaide to turn home.
Arsenal looked to have wrapped up all three points, but Mansell pulled one back for Blackburn in the 66th minute, poking home at the second attempt after his first effort was saved by Ryan Huddart.
The Englishman's second then came 13 minutes from time, when he beat the defensive line and slipped a fine finish home to give his side hope of an unlikely point.
It was not to be, however, as Arsenal held firm at the back to seal the three points that saw them up into the top two, only behind leaders Derby on goal difference.
