Nik Stauskas Injury: Updates on 76ers Guard's Knee and Return
The Philadelphia 76ers have done nothing but lose this season, and things took a turn for the worse Monday when guard Nik Stauskas suffered a knee injury against the Minnesota Timberwolves. It is unclear when he will be able to return to action.

Latest on Stauskas' Playing Status
Wednesday, Nov. 25
Bob Cooney of the Philadelphia Daily News reported that Stauskas is "likely out" for the team's last three games of its current road trip, which ends when the Sixers take on the Los Angeles Lakers in Philadelphia on Dec. 1.
Stauskas' Injury Won't Impact Sixers' Pending Rebuild
While knee injuries are always concerning, this is a lost season for a Philadelphia franchise that has its eyes firmly set on the future. Making sure the 22-year-old guard’s knees are healthy for the long term is more important than rushing him back during a November stretch.
Stauskas has struggled since a hot start. He has one double-digit scoring outing and two scoreless games in his last six contests. In all, the guard was averaging 9.8 points and 2.2 assists per night coming into Monday’s game.
Stauskas has also been disappointing from behind the three-point line (28.2 percent), which is worrisome for the 76ers because he is supposed to help space the floor with his perimeter shooting.
Fortunately for Philadelphia, a number of wing options can fill the void until Stauskas returns, including Isaiah Canaan, Jerami Grant, Robert Covington and Hollis Thompson.
