Breeders' Cup 2015 Odds: Lines and Predictions for All Horses on Friday
The Breeders' Cup starts Friday with four notable races, three of them are wide-open affairs that could produce high-priced winners.
The Dirt Mile will likely be the exception, as Liam's Map looks like a prohibitive short-priced favorite.

| Las Vegas Dirt Mile | 4:10 p.m. | NBCSN | Dirt |
| Juvenile Fillies Turf | 4:50 p.m. | NBCSN | Turf |
| Longines Distaff | 5:35 p.m. | NBCSN | Dirt |
Juvenile Turf
| 1. Dressed In Hermes | 20-1 |
| 2. Azar | 16-1 |
| 3. Manhattan Dan | 66-1 |
| 4. Shogun | 12-1 |
| 5. Highland Sky | 33-1 |
| 6. Birchwood | 10-1 |
| 7. Ray's the Bar | 20-1 |
| 8. Airoforce | 11-2 |
| 9. Sky Marshal | 33-1 |
| 10. Conquest Daddyo | 16-1 |
| 11. Hollywood Don | 20-1 |
| 12. Camelot Kitten | 16-1 |
| 13. Cymric | 6-1 |
| 14. Hit It a Bomb | 9-2 |
| Also Eligigible: Sheikh of Sheikhs | 40-1 |
The one-mile Juvenile Turf is the first of the Breeders' Cup races, and European horse Cymric has won two of five lifetime races. Trained by John Gosden, he is likely to be a strong contender here, along with another European horse, Azar. However, Cymric drew an outside post, which could be an issue in this wide-open race.
Azar won two races in Ireland, while American horse Airoforce won both of his previous races. Sky Marshal is a long shot but is a strong runner who had traffic problems in his last race. If he can overcome that issue here, this race could provide a high-priced winner.
Prediction: 1. Cymric; 2. Azar; 3. Airoforce
Las Vegas Dirt Mile

| 1. Red Vine | 12-1 |
| 2 Bradester | 20-1 |
| 3. Liam's Map | 4-5 |
| 4. Mr. Z | 66-1 |
| 5. Lea | 6-1 |
| 6. Street Strategy | 66-1 |
| 7. War Envoy | 20-1 |
| 8. Wicked Strong | 12-1 |
| 9. Tapiture | 20-1 |
| 10. Valid | 20-1 |
| 11. War Story | 100-1 |
While betting favorites is not the usual path in the Breeders' Cup, because there are so many long shots who have excellent value, it may be the way to go in the Dirt Mile, as Liam's Map appears to be one of the strongest horses in all of the races.
Many believe he would have had a decent showing if he had been entered in the Classic, and the combination of jockey Javier Castellano and trainer Todd Pletcher is quite strong.

If any horse is going to push Liam's Map, it could be Wicked Strong, who finished second in the Jockey Club Gold Cup earlier this month.
Bettors also need to give Lea a long look. This six-year-old horse has run some big races, but consistency has not been his strong suit. If this is one of Lea's better efforts, he could light up the tote board.
Prediction: Liam's Map; 2. Wicked Strong; 3. Valid
Juvenile Fillies Turf
| 1. Tin Type Gal | Scratched |
| 2. Thrilled | 20-1 |
| 3. Alice Springs | 3-1 |
| 4. Catch a Glimpse | 13-2 |
| 5. Ruby Notion | 20-1 |
| 6. Andreya's Reward | 66-1 |
| 7. Sapphire Kitten | 20-1 |
| 8, Harmonize | 13-2 |
| 9. Nemoralia | 10-1 |
| 10. Illuminate | 8-1 |
| 11. Pricedtoperfection | 25-1 |
| 12. Gliding By | 33-1 |
| 13. Mirage | 50-1 |
| 14. Last Waltz | 20-1 |
| 15. Time and Motion | 40-1 |
This is a wide-open race, and it would be wise to give Pricedtoperfection serious consideration. This Chad Brown-trained filly came up with an excellent effort in winning impressively at Belmont in a maiden race and has an excellent closing kick, according to Steve Haskin of Blood-Horse.
Harmonize did not get off to a good start in a previous race at Keeneland but managed to rally from way behind to register an impressive victory.
Illuminate and Alice Springs have both been impressive in England and have a chance to take this race with their best efforts.
Prediction: 1. Harmonize; 2. Illuminate; 3. Pricedtoperfection
Longines Distaff
| 1. I'm a Chatterbox | 8-1 |
| 2. Frivolous | 40-1 |
| 3. Salama | 66-1 |
| 4. Stopchargingmaria | 10-1 |
| 5. Calamity Kate | 33-1 |
| 6. My Sweet Addiction | 25-1 |
| 7. Wedding Toast | 10-3 |
| 8. Curalina | 12-1 |
| 9. Stellar Wind | 10-1 |
| 10. Yahilwa | 25-1 |
| 11. Untapable | Scratched |
| 12. Got Lucky | 10-1 |
| 13. Warren's Veneda | 40-1 |
| 14. Sheer Drama | 13-2 |
| 15. Peace and War | 40-1 |
Sheer Drama has a lot to offer in the Distaff because of her consistency. This five-year-old mare ridden by Joe Bravo has not been worse than second in any of seven starts this year.
Wedding Toast should be a strong contender because she can run with the lead or while stalking the pace according to Lenny Shulman of Blood-Horse. She has won eight of 12 lifetime races. She figures to get a major challenge from I'm a Chatterbox.
Salama does not figure to get a lot of attention, partially because most of her races have been in Peru. However, if she takes to the Keeneland track, she could light up the tote board.
Prediction: 1. Wedding Toast; 2. Salama; 3. Sheer Drama
