Liverpool vs. Bournemouth: Score and Reaction from 2015 Capital One Cup Match
Jurgen Klopp earned his first victory as Liverpool manager on Wednesday as Nathaniel Clyne's first-half strike proved the difference in a 1-0 defeat of Bournemouth at Anfield in the Capital One Cup fourth round.
It was a deserved victory for the Merseyside outfit as they produced a polished performance to book their place in the quarter-finals.
Bournemouth had a number of chances to score, and though they stayed in touch throughout the encounter, they simply could not breach the Liverpool goal.

Liverpool provided details of their lineup before kick-off, Klopp making nine changes from the weekend's starting XI:
The Cherries, meanwhile, welcomed back midfielder Harry Arter for his first start of the season:
Both sides made bright starts to the match, Roberto Firmino firing wide for Liverpool before Adam Bogdan made a tremendous save to deny Junior Stanislas the opener after five minutes.
Stanislas had done terrifically well to create some space in the box, and he was made to rue not finding the back of the net when Clyne opened the scoring after 17 minutes.
It was a tremendously worked goal. Firmino found Joao Carlos Teixeira beyond the defence in the box, and when the Portuguese's backheeled effort was cleared off the line, Clyne was there to sweep home his first goal for the club.
The Liverpool Echo's James Pearce was rightly impressed:
Eddie Howe's side responded well to going behind, and Stanislas forced another fine save from Bogdan with a powerful header.
Kolo Toure's night was ended prematurely as he was forced off injured and replaced by Martin Skrtel.
The impressive Firmino almost made it 2-0 10 minutes before half-time, setting himself on the edge of the box after an audacious nutmeg, but Adam Federici was equal to the Brazilian's curling effort.
Bogdan was forced into another save from Stanislas before the break, but Liverpool deserved their 1-0 lead at half-time.

The Cherries were inches away from an equaliser early in the second half as Shaun MacDonald's header from a Stanislas corner edged just wide.
Firmino then should have made it 2-0 just before the hour mark, but he pulled a shot wide after nicking the ball off Marc Pugh.
The Reds dominated in front of their home fans, but they could not find the killer blow to secure the victory.
Lucas forced a save from long range before Teixeira was also denied by Federici from a free-kick with 10 minutes to go.
It was a nervy final few minutes for the Anfield faithful as Bournemouth laid siege to the hosts' goal in stoppage-time, but the Reds held on to their lead up to the final whistle to book their place in the quarter-finals.
Post-Match Reaction
Klopp was clearly delighted at picking up a first win as Liverpool boss, and he was quick to praise his players for their performance in an unfamiliar lineup, per BBC Sport's Tom Rostance and Jonathan Jurejko:
"My first win feels better than a draw! I'm really satisfied because this team had never played together and the young players did really well. We had many chances against a side which played with nearly their first team. We were dominant, played football and got the win we deserved. It was very important to win because we decided to go with a new team. To win is always good for the feeling of the whole team.
"
Howe felt his side deserved more from the game but heaped praise on Bogdan for holding firm in the Liverpool goal, per Rostance and Jurejko: "I think we should have got something from the game. We created some good chances in both halves, but especially in the first half we had that cutting edge and their keeper made some good saves."
