Connor Barth to Buccaneers: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction
After a one-year stint in Denver, Connor Barth is returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he spent four seasons from 2009-12.
According to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports, the Bucs signed Barth following a workout Tuesday. ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed the move.
Also from Schefter, the Buccaneers decided to bring Barth back after working out veteran kickers Randy Bullock, Kai Forbath and Billy Cundiff.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This marks the second time Tampa Bay has brought Barth back in the span of less than two months. The 29-year-old signed a two-year deal with the team on August 26, but he was released less than two weeks later.
Tampa Bay, which has gotten off to a 1-3 start this season, has had major problems with field-goal kicking. Rookie Kyle Brindza has been awful, going 6-of-12, including just 3-of-7 from at least 40 yards away.
As noted by Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times, Barth had success during his original four-year stint with the Buccaneers:
When a team is struggling, as the Buccaneers are thus far, the last thing anyone, from the players to the coaches, wants to worry about is kicking. Brindza is young and still adjusting to the NFL, but he unfortunately plays a position that is expendable.
Barth was very good, even last season in Denver, and he has a rapport with many of the coaches in Tampa Bay. He's not going to fix all of the Bucs' problems on his own, but his reliable presence does give head coach Lovie Smith one less thing to be concerned with.
