Israel Adesanya Reacts to TKO by Pyfer on Video, 'I'm Not F--king Leaving' Despite UFC Losing Streak
Despite suffering his fourth straight loss in the Octagon on Saturday night, former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya isn't thinking about retiring.
After losing to rising middleweight contender Joe Pyfer via second-round TKO in the main event of UFC Fight Night in Seattle, Adesanya declared in his post-fight interview that he isn't going anywhere.
"You keep going -- again and again and again and again," Adesanya said, per ESPN's Brett Okamoto. "I'm not f--king leaving. You'll never stop me. I might get beat, but I'll always remain undefeated."

Adesanya had some moments during the fight where he appeared to rock Pyfer with strikes, but he failed to capitalize. Pyfer withstood the storm and landed some hard shots of his own before taking Adesanya down and finishing the fight with some ground-and-pound.
Pyfer, who is now expected to vault into the top five at 185 pounds following the biggest win of his career, praised Adesanya for giving him the chance to make a name for himself.
"Izzy is not the most powerful guy in the world, we know that, but he's one of the highest fight IQ champions of all time," Pyfer said. "There's nobody better. In my book, he's the best middleweight of all time. I love you as a champion, love you as a person. Congratulations to Israel. My man was No. 4; I'm in the top five [now]. As Izzy said, 'They need me, and here I am.' I'm 16-3, 29 years old."
As for Adesanya, it's not clear what his next move will be. The middleweight division appears to have passed him by, and he's too undersized for a move up to light heavyweight. His next fight should be against a veteran who's also at the tail-end of his career, as this new crop of contenders at 185 pounds has proven to be too much for the 36-year-old.
