How Did Rory McIlroy, Scheffler, More Do At AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am? Latest Highlights, Reaction

Paul KasabianFeb 14, 2026

Akshay Bhatia is the leader at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am after shooting four-under 68 on Saturday to land at 19-under overall going into the fourth and final round of the signature event.

World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler fared well for the second straight day, shooting a five-under 67 after posting a six-under 66 the round before. Scheffler got off to a tough start on Thursday with an even-par 72, though, so he's eight shots back of Bhatia at 11-under.

World No. 2 golfer Rory McIlroy struggled at even-par 72, and he's now at nine-under overall. From the glass half full perspective, it was incredible McIlroy even landed there after posting a triple bogey on the par-four fourth hole and a double bogey on the par-five closing hole. Outside of those two holes, McIlroy played quite well at five-under (six birdies, one bogey).

As for the leader, Bhatia couldn't have been much hotter over the first seven holes, amassing birdies on all but the third.

The back nine was a challenge, though, as Bhatia carded a pair of bogeys to drop back to 19-under.

In fairness to Bhatia (and the others finishing up in the afternoon), the winds strongly picked up as they wound down their rounds, making play rather difficult. In fact, the wind was so strong down the stretch that it led to golf balls oscillating.

The wind proved to be the best defense at Pebble Beach, which had seen plenty of great scoring over the better part of three days. In fact, 70 of the 80 golfers participating this weekend have shot under par.

Collin Morikawa carded the best round of the day at 10-under 62 to move to 17-under. Morikawa birdied five of his last six holes.

He's tied for second alongside Sepp Straka and Jake Knapp, who opened and closed his third round with eagles. He got his first eagle with a hole-out on the par-four first.

As far as shots of the day go, Sam Burns' chip-in birdie on the last after flying over the green in the wind with his third is certainly up there.

Jordan Spieth hit his tee shot on the last in the rocks, but he somehow managed to save par.

Wyndham Clark and Shane Lowry almost produced aces as well.

The tournament closes on Sunday, and the wind will not be forgiving. Per WindFinder, the wind will be up to 21 mph during the tournament with gusts up to 38 mph.

The fourth and final round begins at 10:22 a.m. ET, with golfers grouped in threes and starting on holes No. 1 and No. 10. The final grouping of Bhatia, Morikawa and Straka tees off at 12:45 p.m.
