National Signing Day 2026 Final Recruit Announcement Schedule and Predictions
National signing day for the 2026 college football cycle is finally upon us. While most top recruits have already signed with college programs, and the regular signing period lacks the drama it once possessed, a few notable announcements should be in the works.
One of the top 250 recruits in 247Sports' composite rankings remains uncommitted, and a handful of prospects remain unsigned.
Here's a look at the most notable recruiting battles to track when the national signing period opens on Wednesday, along with some final predictions.

Dylan Berymon, DL, Ouachita Parish
2 of 4
4-star defensive lineman Dylan Beerymon of Ouachita Parish High School (Monroe, LA) is the biggest name left to commit in the 2026 cycle.
The 223rd-ranked recruit on the 247Sports board, Berymon is a talented prospect that Gabe Brooks of 247Sports called a "Bona fide SEC-style interior D-line body who flashes impressive athleticism and speed-to-power abilities. Fits a coveted position archetype. Should develop into quality high-major starter who could become a pro prospect."
Berymon was originally committed to Texas but decommitted in November, putting his recruitment back in the spotlight.
"Right now, it is going to be between Kentucky and Nebraska," Berymon told Rivals' Chad Simmons in December.
While Berymon hasn't tipped which program he'll choose yet, fans will know soon enough. According to Sam Spiegelman of Rivals and On3, he plans to announce his decision on Wednesday.
The prediction here is that Berymon, who recently had another meeting with Cornhuskers coach Matt Rhule, picks Nebraska.
Prediction: Nebraska
Anthony Jones, DL, Crean Lutheran
3 of 4
Berymon isn't the only talented defensive lineman scheduled to make an announcement on Wednesday. 3-star Anthony Jones of Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA) is also expected to make his decision public, according to Greg Biggins of On3 and Rivals.
Jones is a prospect that Brooks called "experienced all over the defensive front, from over the center to a two-point 7-tech edge role and just about everything in between."
The 479th-ranked recruit on the 247Sports board, Jones has now decommitted from UCLA twice. He's set to pick between Wisconsin and Oregon and has recently taken official visits with both schools. His trip to Eugene was the third of his recruiting process.
"I think what stands out about Oregon is the incredible amount of resources on and off the field they have there to be successful," Jones said, per Biggins. "The players and coaches have a great bond and you can see the relationships there are genuine.
Oregon has an impressive 2026 class, but with just 22 players, it isn't particularly large. The prediction here is that Dan Lanning adds to it by landing Jones.
Prediction: Oregon
Teddy Jarrard, QB, North Cobb
4 of 4
It's worth keeping in mind that nothing in college recruiting is truly done until it becomes official. That's why 4-star quarterback Teddy Jarrard of North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA) will be worth watching on Wednesday.
Jarrard is a promising signal-caller, the 231st-ranked recruit on the 247Sports board, and a player 247Sports' Andrew Ivins called a "Tall pocket passer with already two years of varsity starting experience that has displayed the ability to get the ball out on time and keep an offense on schedule."
Originally a 2027 recruit, Jarrard is committed to Notre Dame and recently reclassed to the 2026 cycle. He does plan to sign with the Irish on Wednesday, enroll as early as possible, and start getting to work.
"I want to be on track with everyone else in the room as much as I can when I come in the summer," Jarrard said, per On3's Mike Singer. "I'll probably be a little bit behind, but I have to try and catch up."
Other programs haven't quite given up on the possibility of landing Jarrard, though. According to 247Sports' Tom Loy, Georgia and Indiana are both hoping they can flip Jarrard before he officially signs his letter of intent.
The prediction here, though, is that Jarrard signs with Notre Dame, drama-free, on Wednesday.
Prediction: Notre Dame
