NASCAR Xfinity Series at Brickyard 2015 Results: Winner, Standings and Reaction
Kyle Busch stole the lead from Ryan Blaney on the final lap of the NASCAR Xfinity Series' Lilly Diabetes 250 Saturday, kicking off an epic weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
NASCAR's most dominant driver overcame a major late push from the young upstart to seal the victory, a fitting finish for one of the Xfinity slate's trickier courses, thanks to the deadly four corners.
While a disappointing finish and quite the learning experience for Blaney, Busch's epic tear continued in nail-biting fashion.

Things started as most would come to expect—Busch jumped out to an early lead, flanked by Xfinity Series drivers.
The winner of two Sprint Cup Series races in a row on his epic pursuit of Chase qualification, Busch continued his strong showing in Xfinity races right out of the gates. It was interesting to hear early on, though, he wasn't too thrilled with the conditions at IMS, per Richard Allen of RacingWithRich.com:
Also familiar territory? Cautions. The first yellow flag went up on Lap 13, and the second wasn't far behind, thanks to the most brutal wreck of the day.
Blake Koch and David Starr were the guilty parties, as NASCAR on NBC captured:
"That last caution was caused by this: #NASCARonNBC pic.twitter.com/0m4NPhbeeP

After the violent exchange, one side was quick to point the finger, per Allen:
Things slowed down from there, with Blaney, Daniel Suarez, Paul Menard and Erik Jones all putting up serious fights for the lead at one point or another with Busch doing his best to fend off the field.
Jones was the reason for the next caution on Lap 70, as NASCAR on NBC noted, as he went right into the wall, ending his day early for his third did-not-finish result of the season:
With 25 laps to go, Blaney stole the lead from Busch, who took it back at the most important time of all—on the final lap.
Blaney tried to block Busch's pass but surrendered the inside with a half-lap to go to give Busch the clutch win. He celebrated afterward, as NASCAR on NBC highlighted:
ESPN.com's Bob Pockrass provided post-race snippets from both drivers:
Despite the late collapse, Rodney Childers of Stewart-Haas Racing heaped praise on the young driver:
Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon also weighed in on the finish:
Blaney, who entered 25th in the standings, wound up leading 24 laps and getting his fourth top-five finish of the season. As for Menard, who remains right in the thick of things in the Sprint Cup standings, he finished fourth with nine laps led.
Suarez, owner of three top-five finishes in his last four outings before Saturday's event, finished strong with a third-place finish and as many laps led.
Up next, the Xfinity Series returns to Iowa Speedway for the U.S. Cellular 250 presented by New Holland, where Blaney and the rest of the Series will look to continue the competitive leaderboard action and fend off Sprint Cup regulars.
It's a never-ending battle and one lost Saturday, but the Xfinity Series gets another shot in Iowa, where there will be plenty of points on the line, too.
