Omega European Masters 2015: Leaderboard Scores and Highlights from Saturday
There is a divide on the Omega European Masters leaderboard after three rounds. Matthew Fitzpatrick, Danny Willett and Raphael Jacquelin are the only players double-digits under par, though there is another trio within four shots of the lead.
Fitzpatrick continues to get better on the Crans-sur-Sierre golf course in Switzerland, going from a 69 on Thursday to 65 on Friday to a stellar 64 on Saturday. That leaves the 20-year-old one round away from his first victory as a professional.
Willett, despite shooting one over on Saturday, has retained his surprising surge that started with him tying for sixth place at the British Open last week. It's an interesting two-horse race at the top, though there are enough players close to the summit that Sunday will be full of drama.

Fitzpatrick's 64 Gives Him Share of Lead
Fitzpatrick was the biggest story of Saturday's third round. His 64 was two shots better than anyone else on the course, putting him in a tie for the lead with Willett.
The back nine is how Fitzpatrick made his money, firing a 30 with five birdies that included a run of three straight from No. 13 through 15. It was his best stretch of golf this weekend and came at the most opportune time.
The European Tour provided the video evidence of Fitzpatrick's run of birdies that put him in a position to win on Sunday:
Despite being so young compared to the rest of the field, Fitzpatrick doesn't seem to be fazed by his positioning based on his post-round comments on Twitter:
Yet even with Fitzpatrick's brilliance, Willett did not give him any breathing room. His 71 coming after a 62 on Friday was discouraging, but he did salvage it with this eagle on the 15th hole that brought his score back to 12 under, via the European Tour on Twitter:
Under normal circumstances, it would be correct to say the young man has to prove himself capable of handling the pressure. Fitzpatrick may end up falling off the pace on Sunday, but the 27-year-old Willett has to prove he's the one who can bounce back from a sub-par round.
Willett wasn't alone in struggling through Saturday's third round. Seukhyun Baek and Y.E. Yang started the day at 12 under, but both players fired an identical four-over 74 that dropped them into a tie for fifth and four shots off the lead.
Baek and Yang have been eerily similar throughout the tournament. They have mirrored each other's rounds thus far, starting with 65 and 63 in the first two rounds before today's collapse. The only difference is Yang had five bogeys, while Baek posted six.
After Friday's round was suspended due to weather concerns, players had to get in extra holes on Saturday. That may have played a role in some of the high scores on the course, so being able to rest this evening should provide another opportunity for players to right the ship.
Fitzpatrick has momentum in his favor, but Willett has shown himself capable of throwing a low number up. This tournament is far from over despite having just 18 holes to play.
