NASCAR Xfinity Series at Brickyard 2015: Schedule, Standings, Ticket Info, More
The NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to the Brickyard at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Saturday for a blockbuster weekend of action and one of the season's biggest landmarks.
The Lilly Diabetes 250 remains a staple of the Xfinity calendar at the historic track and could not have more on the line with so many names bunched together on the leaderboard.
Last week in New Hampshire, Sprint Cup regular Denny Hamlin stole one from the Xfinity drivers. It's something to watch this weekend, too, with big names such as Kyle Busch set to use the event as a warm-up.
Below is everything to know about one of the best weekends of the summer.

Drivers to Watch
Ryan Reed

At a normal race, Ryan Reed would be worthy of the spotlight because he sits No. 9 in the standings. A few solid consecutive outings and the Roush Fenway Racing driver could shake up the standings.
This isn't a normal race for Reed, though. Lilly Diabetes sponsors him, and the pair will take Saturday as an opportunity to triumph in the fight against diabetes.
PaddockTalk.com provided the release:
"American Diabetes Association Youth Ambassador Hunter Sego of Madison, Ind. will have his name featured on a decal above the passenger-side door on the No. 16 Ford Mustang this weekend at NHMS. The rising DePauw University freshman football player was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was seven years old and has been an advocate for those living with the disease ever since. The Diabetes Care Act in the state of Indiana, or "Hunter’s Law," outlines diabetes care in schools and was initiated by and named for Sego.
"
Reed is a great competitor. He's finished in the top 14 in each of his past four outings and took home the checkered flag at Daytona back in February, so he figures to be in contention down the stretch Saturday.
Reed's cause is most important when he takes to the legendary track, making him one of the top names to watch.
Ty Dillon

One of the leaderboard's biggest risers over the past few weeks, Ty Dillon sits within striking distance of second place behind Series leader Chris Buescher.
Chase Elliott may still clutch second place by a small margin, but Dillon has recorded a pair of top-10 finishes over his last four outings and knows a thing or two about how to win this particular race.
Last year, Dillon led 24 laps en route to victory at The Brickyard and features the momentum after a sixth-place finish in New Hampshire to pull off the feat once again. A triumph could make it two years in a row his first win of the season happens there.
If Dillon can jump to a late lead as he did last year and hold it against both Xfinity and Sprint Cup drivers, he won't have any issues with the leaderboard situation.
Kyle Busch

There doesn't seem to be any stopping racing's hottest name.
Kyle Busch is on fire as of late, sporting a pair of Sprint Cup wins over the past two weeks thanks to wins in Kentucky and New Hampshire as he guns to make the Chase after an injury-shortened season.
Still, Busch isn't slacking in Xfinity, either. He won in Michigan in June, and in the two races he's competed in this month, he placed third and fourth.
Oh, and Busch wants to get back to his winning ways at this event, which he won in 2013, as he said in a press release, via CatchFence.com:
"I’m ready to go back to Indy considering our finish last year, when I thought we would have been as good as what we showed in 2013. I’m not sure what held us back but the car was tight all race. And there at the end I had a restart and couldn’t get through turn one and Dillon (Ty) just drove right by me. I’m looking forward to going back over our notes and improving our car setup so we stay strong through the whole race.
"
It's clear the Xfinity Series is important to Busch, both from a career standpoint and as a way to prepare himself for Sprint Cup events. This is especially the case with NASCAR continuing to alter aero rules.
Busch is racing's hottest commodity right now. He's earned it, and Saturday there is little doubt Busch will put on a show at familiar stomping grounds.
