Will Dunne Make History?

Dunne's name wasn't spoken by many prior to the weekend. The 22-year-old amateur qualified for the tournament with a win at Hoylake, despite nearly missing the slot for his tee off in the first round, reported by Sky Sports.
He has remained cool, consistent and fearless at the British Open so far. This is underlined by the youngster only dropping two shots across the opening two rounds—on 11 during Round 1 and 16 during Round 2—before enjoying a bogeyless run in Round 3.
Bleacher Report highlighted his incredible achievement so far:
However, Dunne has shown no signs of wanting to be the amateur who performed well and then fell short. He is hunting the prize just as eagerly as the professionals, per BBC Sport:
If he does the unthinkable and break away to claim the Claret Jug, Dunne isn't eligible to be rewarded in cash, tweeted by BBC Sport:
The exposure of winning a major would fire his career into the stratosphere, though. Dunne may be most wary of Day at the moment—the Australian can assert himself before Dunne heads onto the course and was the only other member of the final two pairings to not drop a shot in Round 3—but he must continue to play with the disregard for big names he's shown so far.

Many onlookers will be hoping Spieth can start quickly and apply pressure to those resting one shot ahead of him. The U.S. Open and Masters winner doesn't enjoy anything less than perfection, nor does he bend under pressure, so he can be expected to fight until the very last shot.
Oosthuizen will bide his time, remain calm and hope the three around him make a mistake. He is by far the most experienced, and if Dunne begins to struggle, he can slaughter the Irishman's confidence with an effortless run of birdies.
This will be a huge test of mental strength for Dunne, who will become the first amateur since Bobby Jones in 1930 to win the British Open if he keeps his cool.
