British Open Schedule 2015: Monday Tee Times, TV Coverage and Live Stream

Douglas J MillerJul 20, 2015

The fourth and final round of the 2015 British Open Championship takes place on Monday as Paul Dunne, Jason Day, Louis Oosthuizen and company try to conquer the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland.

The play on Sunday featured a lot of action as Dustin Johnson and Danny Willett fell back, and others mounted strong surges up the leaderboard. With Sunday's play complete, Dunne, Day and Oosthuizen sit tied for first place at 12 under par.

The story of the day featured Dunne, an amateur, as he climbed nine spots with a score of 66 to finish six under for the day. The 22-year-old Irishman is the first amateur to lead The Open through 52 holes since 1927, and he would be the first to win the tournament since Bobby Jones in 1930, according to PGAtour.com's Helen Ross.

All eyes will be on Dunne as his unlikely story will be front and center during the final round of the British Open Championship in Fife, Scotland.

Meanwhile, Dunne's playing partner, for both the third and fourth round, Oosthuizen shot five under par to put his name in the running for the Claret Jug. The 32-year-old is a familiar face at St. Andrews as he won the British Open the last time it was held at the Old Course in 2010.

Day also finds himself with a chance to win a major yet again heading into the final round. However, unlike at the U.S. Open, the 27-year-old does not have to battle vertigo as he tries to win his first major.

As the action continues and the third major of the year is on the line, here is all of the information you need to watch history as it happens.

Although three people lead the rest at the start of the final round, there are 25 players within five strokes of the lead at St. Andrews.

Among those players in contention is Jordan Spieth in fourth place at 11 strokes under par after shooting a 66 on Sunday. At only 21 years old, he is trying to make history after winning both the Masters and U.S. Open this year.

Spieth made a strong push on the back nine on Sunday, but his solid overall play showed throughout the entire round. The Dallas, Texas, native hit 81 percent of the fairways and reached 78 percent of the greens in regulation, according to theOpen.com.

Spieth's ability to save par by sinking high-pressure putts may have been even more important than his birdie attempts. As the pressure mounts late at St. Andrews, Spieth's ability to remain calm and make clutch putts will be vital.

All the attention will be on the young players in Dunne and Spieth to make the 2015 British Open Championship one of the most notable in golf history. Meanwhile, veterans like Day and Oosthuizen will try to put their own stamp on the Old Course at St. Andrews.
