British Open 2015 Leaderboard: Latest Scores and Standings from Sunday
Moving day at The Open Championship has arrived; albeit, a day late.
We all know the kind of havoc the weather can wreak on St. Andrews' Old Course due to its location just off the North Sea, and the elements have been overwhelmingly unpredictable this year. Conditions were close to perfect on Thursday, but torrential downpours and excessive winds quickly put a dampener on things.
After delays and suspensions in play totaled 14 hours over Friday and Saturday, The Royal and Ancient Golf Club was forced to push the tournament's third round back to Sunday and final round to Monday. That marks the first time an Open Championship will finish on a Monday since Seve Ballesteros won back in 1988.

Luckily, no more delays appear to be in sight, as the Weather.com forecast is projecting nothing more than a few showers over the next two days. Those drastically improved conditions should make moving day quite interesting.
Players have already set foot on the Old Course to begin the third round, so let's take a look at the updated tournament leaderboard and highlight some early notable activity.

Analyzing Early Sunday Results

Dustin Johnson may still hold a narrow one-stroke lead over Danny Willett, but the duo is already seeing players creep up behind them on the leaderboard before they even have a chance to tee off.
Marc Leishman is taking moving day very seriously, and he's putting together a stellar round. After playing the first two days of the tournament in just one under par, the Aussie turned into a birdie-making machine, bettering par on seven of his first 13 holes to move to eight under for the tournament and just two strokes off Johnson's pace. At this rate, he could be the clubhouse leader by the time his round is finished.
Bunkered Golf Mag tweeted a possibility for Leishman's round:
While Leishman is certainly making waves at St. Andrews, he isn't the only player producing some jaw-dropping numbers. Eddie Pepperell has come out of nowhere to move into contention. He was at just two under par through two rounds but has been red hot on Sunday, birdieing five of his first seven holes to move to seven under for the tournament.
Golf Central tweeted a look at the Englishman's scorecard:
The lowest final score of the day thus far goes to Jim Furyk. The American has fought his way back into contention after playing his first two rounds at even par and just barely making the cut. Furyk was on point on Sunday, playing a bogey-free round while recording six birdies to finish with a six-under 66 on the day. He's currently just four strokes off the pace and will look to threaten on Monday.
We better be watching out for the amateurs as well, as a pair are now in contention. Paul Dunne was the low amateur through two rounds after a pair of 69s, but Ashley Chesters has now caught up. The Englishman played the first two rounds at one-under par but a 31 on Sunday's front nine quickly shot him up the leaderboard with a score of six under for the tournament.
One more notable performer from early on Sunday is Rickie Fowler. No stranger to a contending status in an Open Championship, he was part of an exciting duel with Rory McIlroy in last year's event. Well, after playing the first two rounds in one under par, he's finally starting to make a move. Golf Digest tweeted a look at his Sunday scorecard:
Fowler followed that up with another birdie on the par-four 13th, moving to five under for the day and six under for the tournament. He's now just four strokes off the pace with five holes to play in his third round.
After seeing all of these numbers in the red early on Sunday, the tournament's leaders will be chomping at the bit to tee it up and produce some low scores of their own. Get your popcorn ready.
All scores correct at the time of writing.
