WWE NXT Results, Winners, Live Grades, Reaction and Highlights From Feb. 17
Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of WWE NXT on February 17.
Here's a look at what WWE advertised for Tuesday's show:
Let's take a look at everything that happened on this week's NXT.
Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan
1 of 8
Last time in action: Vice and Mr. Iguana defeated Page and La Hiedra (AAA, Feb. 7), Jordan lose the Royal Rumble
NXT got right into the first match with Vice taking on Jordan. Before Jordan could even get to the ring, Vice was all over her.
This feud has turned very personal in recent weeks, and they did a good job portraying that with how aggressive both women were being.
Vice was selling an injured hand, so Jordan was able to take advantage of that to neutralize some of her striking offense. Lola did a good job making it look like her hand was causing her a lot of pain.
That injury became the focal point of this match for a long time. Jordan was in control before and throughout the break because she kept focusing on Vice's weakness.
They didn't do anything too exciting in this bout, and the pace felt a bit slow in places, but they did a good job telling the story they wanted to tell.
Jordan ended up winning with a pretty unique submission on Vice's injured hand.
Result: Jordan defeated Vice
Grade: C-plus
Notable Moments and Observations
A Title Match Set
2 of 8
As Ricky Saints was walking in the parking lot, Joe Hendry jumped him. The fight was broken up by security almost immediately. When the show returned from a break, Hendry came to the ring and called out Saints for a fight.
Saints appeared in the crow's nest and said seeing Hendry with the title makes him sick. He said Hendry is just a gimmick and he sees right through it.
They talked some trash back and forth until Saints proposed a title match at Vengeance Day. Hendry accepted the challenge.
This was a standard copy-and-paste talking segment to set up a title match, but they did a good job with what they had. Saints definitely stood out a bit more for some of his lines.
Grade: C-plus
Notable Moments and Observations
Cutler James vs. Tony D'Angelo
3 of 8
Last time in action: D'Angelo defeated Stacks and Luca Crusifino (NXT, July 15), James lost in an eight-man tag match (NXT, Dec. 2)
The new and improved Tony D had his first match in months against Cutler James this week. He came out with new music and different gear that fit more with his new personality.
This was a highly physical fight right out of the gate. D'Angelo got the win in just a couple of minutes, but everything they did in those couple of minutes looked good.
Dion Lennox attacked Tony after it was over, but he got the better of DarkState and used the steel steps to inflict some extra damage. If they had a few more minutes, this match could have been one of the highlights this week.
Result: D'Angelo defeated James
Grade: C
Notable Moments and Observations
OTM vs. The Culling vs. Hank and Tank vs. Swipe Right
4 of 8
A tag title shot was on the line in a Fatal 4-Way this week. Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, Niko Vance and Shawn Spears, and Hank Walker and Tank Ledger were the competitors involved.
Spears tried to tag out to Swipe Right to avoid facing Price, but they dropped off the apron and made him fight for himself.
With four teams but only two legal men at any given time, people were tagging in whenever they had the chance.
Price and Vance were two of the biggest guys in the ring, so their showdown was given special attention in the middle of the match.
This was chaotic, but in a good way. It was pretty easy to follow who was legal at any given time, and all four teams played different roles at different times.
They managed to mix in some funny moments while still keeping the action entertaining, too. NXT has a decent tag team division right now, and this match helped highlight how different each team is.
Jackson Drake cost Spears the win and it led to Baylor falling onto Spears and getting the pin and the win.
Result: Swipe Right won
Grade: B
Notable Moments and Observations
Jacy Jayne Speaks Her Mind
5 of 8
Zaria was shown backstage telling Sol Ruca that their friendship was over after Ruca ended up getting the title shot last week.
After a break, Fatal Influence came to the ring. Jacy Jayne said she is actually looking forward to facing Ruca for the title and said she was a little jealous of Ruca because the crowd loves her more.
Jayne complained about how Ruca keeps upstaging her and said WWE has been shoving her down everyone's throat. She also mocked Ruca and Zaria's personal issues, which brought out Ruca to respond.
They traded some insults before Fatal Influence beat her down. Zaria came out and took out all three members of the group before offering her hand to Ruca and hugging her.
WWE keeps delaying the inevitable breakup of Ruca and Zaria, but this segment was good as a whole. Jayne gave a strong promo even if most of it was stuff we've heard before.

Notable Moments and Observations
Elio LeFleur vs. Eli Knight
6 of 8
LeFleur and Knight met in a Speed match to determine the next challenger for Jasper Troy's Speed Championship.
They both favor a fast-paced style, so this match was full of high-flying spots right out of the gate.
These Speed matches are usually too short to be anything special, but these two made the most of every single second to make this one of the more exciting things we got all night.
They ended up running out of time without a winner, so Robert Stone came out and booked a triple threat match for the title with a seven-minute time limit instead of the usual five minutes.
Result: No Decision
Grade: B+
Notable Moments and Observations
Ethan Page vs. Shiloh Hill
7 of 8
Last time in action: Page and La Hiedra lost to Vice and Iguana (AAA, Feb. 7), Hill lost the Ladder match (NXT, Feb. 3)
This week's main event saw Hill get a shot at the men's North American Championship against Page.
They started off with a simple wristlock exchange that ended with Page being flipped onto his back by the young upstart. Hill prevented Page from using a steel chair to get himself intentionally disqualified.
When Page tried to bring in the title belt, Hill once again stopped him from using the foreign object. Vanity Project came out to watch the match up close, which distracted the challenger as the show went to a break.
Hill took out all three men when they tried to get involved, but that allowed Page to sneak up and hit his finisher on exposed concrete. All Ego got the win to retain his title and set a new record for most successful defenses.
Result: Page defeated Hill
Grade: B

The Final Word
8 of 8We never thought we would say this about an episode of NXT, but the biggest highlight on this week's show was the three-minute Speed match.
LeFleur and Knight are both trying to make their mark as newcomers to NXT, and they put on an exciting bout that left the crowd wanting more.
The main event with Page and Borne was decent, but it lacked any level of unpredictability.
The show ended with Page telling Borne he could have a title shot next week as long as he doesn't break his ankle. Borne stomped on it anyway.
Grade: C-plus
