Naomi Kicks Off Raw
2 of 8
"Y'all weren't feeling the glow but y'all feeling me now, aren't you?!" Naomi said at the top of Monday's show, less than 24 hours after cashing in Money in the Bank to win the Women's World Championship from Iyo Sky, during The Genius of the Sky's instant classic with Rhea Ripley.
Discussing her jump from SmackDown to Raw, she told Bianca Belair, "I didn't betray you, I outgrew you" before running both her and Jade Cargill down and warning the locker room to proceed with caution.
"One thing you should know about me: I'm not cautious," Ripley said after interrupting the new champion. Sky appeared next and demanded Mami get in line before a back-and-forth argument ensued.
Raw general manager Adam Pearce interjected himself into the segment, gave the women their flowers for an unforgettable night at Evolution and proceeded to announce a Triple Threat match for the title at SummerSlam.
Grade
A
Top Moments and Takeaways
* Naomi has evolved as an in-ring presence and is so comfortable at this point. She has embraced this heel persona completely and is in the midst of her best work. As great as she has been for as long as she has been, this segment is not something she would have been able to carry on her own back during her last title run in 2017.
* Ripley vs. Sky vs. Naomi is a blockbuster match that should, though it probably won't, be a main event of one of the two nights at SummerSlam on August 2-3.
* We knew Naomi would be greeted warmly and Ripley is the most popular woman on the roster, but the pop for Sky was indicative of a star on a whole other level than she was even earlier this year.
Kabuki Warriors vs. The Judgment Day
3 of 8
Backstage, Finn Bálor congratulated Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez on successfully defending the Women's Tag Team Championship in a Fatal 4-Way at Evolution.
He then hyped them up ahead of their match with Asuka and Kairi Sane on Monday night.
"Do it for Liv," he told them.
Perez and Rodriguez took to the squared circle for their match against The Kabuki Warriors accompanied by Dominik Mysterio and looking to make it 2-0 against the tandem in as many nights.
The heels dominated the action, isolating Sane and working her over in their corner. When the babyface had Perez pinned, Mysterio provided a distraction that prevented her from picking up the victory.
The intercontinental champion, supposedly nursing insured ribs, jumped on the apron and ate a shot from Asuka, who quickly found herself on the receiving end of a roll-up from The Prodigy, who scored the win for her team.
Result
Perez and Rodriguez defeated Asuka and Sane

Top Moments and Takeaways
* After the success of Evolution, the last thing we needed here was excessive interference from Mysterio, even if his budding association with Perez is at the heart of the Judgment Day story.
* Perez and Rodriguez have solid chemistry as a team, and it will be interesting to see them build on it as their title reign continues.
* There is still mileage in a rivalry with The Kabuki Warriors, but one has to wonder how often Triple H is going to be comfortable running that match back. For some of his flaws, he has tended to stay away from repeating bouts too frequently. Still, they are, arguably, the best tag team in the division and keeping them out of the title picture can only happen for so long.
2-Out-of-3 Falls Match: Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria
4 of 8
For the winner of the 2-Out-of-3 Falls match between Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, a shot at Becky Lynch and the Women's Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam.
For the loser? A spot at the back of the line.
Bayley struck first, scoring a quick pinfall with a slap and schoolgirl roll-up.
Aggressive and intent on claiming victory, The Role Model allowed her emotions to get the best of her, creating an opportunity for Valkyria to even the score at one fall apiece with another roll-up.
Each competitor delivered signature moves, but neither was able to keep the other down as near-falls increased and exhaustion set in. With Valkyria's back wracked with pain, Bayley scaled the ropes and delivered her top-rope elbow drop, but she still could not keep the resilient Irish wrestler down.
The former women's champion applied an STF but upon her attempt to roll her and her opponent back toward the center of the ring, Valkyria countered and delivered Nightwing to cash her ticket to SummerSlam.
Result
Valkyria defeated Bayley, 2-1

Top Moments and Takeaways
* Valkyria has been one of the breakout stars in all of professional wrestling in 2025 and performances like this are why. She meshes well with opponents of all styles and backgrounds. The former IC champ is entering that rarefied air as a performer who can be counted on to deliver a show-stealer whenever she enters the ring.
* Were does this leave Bayley? Does she turn heel? Could she be on her way back to a role she excelled in during her first stint as a villain? Without a clear path to anything of note as a babyface, one can only hope.
Nikki Bella vs. Chelsea Green
5 of 8
Chelsea Green confronted Stephanie Vaquer backstage, talking trash ahead of her match with Nikki Bella.
Green, seeking revenge after the Hall of Famer eliminated her and The Secret Hervice in the Evolution Battle Royal, looked to get back to winning ways.
She worked the former Divas champion over, sending her back-first into the timekeeper's barricade. She targeted the spine of her opponent as chants for the competitors were split right down the middle.
Bella fought back, fended off Piper Niven and Alba Fyre, and scored the win off a Rack Attack 2.0.
After the match, The Secret Hervice pummeled the victor until Vaquer made the save. La Primera cleared the ring and stood tall with Bella to close the segment.

Bella defeated Green

C
Top Moments and Takeaways
* Bella was clearly dealing with some ring rust here as this was her first singles match since the main event of the original Evolution in October 2018. But her performance was solid, and she still managed to hang with a competitor in her prime and coming off a United States Championship run.
* Speaking of Green, it's a testament to management's trust in her to book her against a star of Bella's magnitude in her first singles match in seven years. Green is a star, regardless of her place on the card, and she showed it here by getting the best out of her opponent.
Gunther Promo
6 of 8
Adam Pearce informed The New Day they will have to earn their rematch for the tag team titles before telling Dominik Mysterio that his rib injury will be reevaluated next Monday night.
World heavyweight champion Gunther made his way to the ring, just 48 hours removed from retiring Goldberg at Saturday Night's Main Event and retaining his title.
"I don't get the issue because I am in a great mood today!" he told the WWE Universe. "I ended the myth of Bill Goldberg!"
"There's only one question to raise right now: Who's next?"
Bron Breakker made his way to the ring, interrupting the champion who appeared amused by his presence. Paul Heyman warned The Ring General that his charge is going to "break your ass" at SummerSlam.
Grade
B
Top Moments and Takeaways
* Heyman rallying off "next big thing," "big dog" and "his yard" while putting over Breakker as the next generation of his guys was a nice touch. It was also the latest mention of Roman Reigns, who has to be nearing his return ahead of SummerSlam.
* Gunther telling Heyman he was not interested in listening to him was unintentionally hilarious, especially as the champion was so matter-of-fact about it.
No. 1 Contender's Gauntlet Match
7 of 8
With a shot at Gunther and the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam up for grabs, five of the top Superstars on Raw battled in a Gauntlet match.
Familiar foes Bron Breakker and Penta kicked off the action, with the winner moving on to compete against the next entrant. A back-and-forth battle, not unlike their previous encounters, came to a definitive conclusion when the luchador delivered a springboard off the ropes and directly into the waiting arms of Breakker, who speared him to the mat for the pinfall. (Penta eliminated)
LA Knight was out next and found himself on the receiving end of a targeted attack to his injured midsection.
Despite a strong effort from The Megastar, Breakker delivered a fireman's carry gut buster and hit him with a Spear. (Knight eliminated)
Jey Uso took the fight to his longtime rival, even stunning him with a tope suicida. Instead of continuing his assault, Uso ran back his entrance, Yeet-ing with fans and drawing criticism from commentator Corey Graves.
Uso recovered from his bad judgment and rolled late, only for Bronson Reed to interfere on behalf of Breakker and set up the former IC champion's advancement to the last competitor. (Uso eliminated)
CM Punk hit the ring like a man possessed, taking the fight to Breakker. Michael Cole put over the heel's endurance, saying he had competed for over 35 minutes.
Punk rolled late, delivering his elbow drop and applying the Anaconda Vise, only for Reed to interfere again. Uso made the save and fended off the big man.
Breakker set up for a Spear, but Punk countered and delivered Go To Sleep for the win. (Breakker eliminated)
After the match, the heels beat down Punk until Roman Reigns made his long-awaited return, clearing the villains from the ring and standing tall alongside The Best in the World and Uso to close out the show.
Result
CM Punk defeated Bron Breakker, Jey Uso, LA Knight and Penta
Grade
B
Top Moments and Takeaways
* Breakker has clearly been fast-tracked for a main event push, even more so following Seth Rollins' injury Saturday night. He was spotlighted as the clear star of the match and should be considered the favorite to get the nod to battle Reigns at SummerSlam.
* Punk vs. Gunther is a match WWE has produced at live events, including a Steel Cage match during last December's holiday tour, but one that has never been presented on TV. It is a fresh, high-stakes, high-profile contest that should be one of the main events of the two-night PLE next month.

This was a great episode of the flagship show.
On the heels of a critically acclaimed Evolution, Triple H and the WWE creative team picked up where they left off, giving fans a steady dose of the women's division through the first 90 minutes.
From the announcement of Ripley vs. Sky vs. Naomi at SummerSlam to Valkyria and Bayley tearing the house down in three straight falls to The Kabuki Warriors to The Judgment Day running it back for the tag team titles, the women of WWE reiterated their value.
When it was time to turn the attention to the world title picture and Gunther's SummerSlam opponent, the show delivered a gauntlet match pitting five top stars against each other for over 40 minutes.
Throw in the long-awaited return of Reigns, and you have an exclamation point to a 24-hour span of superb shows from WWE.
