Transfer Portal News: Top 5 Offensive Transfers Who Haven't Committed
While the overwhelming majority of rosters are locked in for 2025, a few college football players are still looking for a new home.
At this point of the offseason, teams probably will be hard-pressed to find an impact contributor in the portal. The reality is most of those transfers have picked a school.
Still, there is depth to be found. Lottery tickets, so to say, as well.
The following players have either been notable contributors in recent seasons or are worth a long-term gamble on their potential.
Aidan Glover, QB
1 of 5
In the 2024 recruiting cycle, quarterback Aidan Glover held a 3-star billing. He ranked 40th at his position and 644th overall.
He ended up going to Missouri, picking the Tigers over listed offers from Georgia Tech, Indiana, Oklahoma State and others. After taking a redshirt last season, he entered the transfer portal in December.
And still we wait.
Given how many power-conference teams recruited Glover, it's logical to believe he will find another FBS home.
James Resar, QB/ATH
2 of 5
Similar to Glover, the conversation around James Resar is about upside.
Resar, also a member of the 2024 class, held a 3-star billing and ranked 712th in the country when he signed with Iowa. Sure, he wasn't an elite QB recruit, but that's a quality rating just one year ago.
What makes him an attractive option, though—and simultaneously complicates his outlook—is his athleticism.
Resar made the switch to wide receiver during the 2024 season, but a knee injury sidelined him almost immediately. Does he want to play QB or wideout? And then, where does Team X or Team Y view him playing?
Isaiah Augustave, RB
3 of 5
Isaiah Augustave is moving on again.
The running back first went to Arkansas, where he impressed late in the 2023 season with a pair of 80-yard games. He then bolted for Colorado, leading the Buffaloes with 384 rushing yards and four scores last year.
He gave a verbal commitment to Virginia in April, but a reported issue with credits transferring has kept him in the portal.
Wherever he lands, Augustave can be a rotational option with starter upside.
Trejan Bridges, WR
4 of 5
The ongoing story of Trejan Bridges' college career is very long, somewhat sad and hopefully nearing a positive end.
In the 2019 recruiting class—yes, 2019—he was a 4-star, top-70 prospect. He signed with Oklahoma in a class that included hyped quarterback Spencer Rattler and ranked sixth in the country.
Bridges, though, was dismissed from OU after an incident that resulted in him pleading guilty to larceny.
The wideout has since played for East Los Angeles College and Central Arkansas. He made 53 receptions for 729 yards and six touchdowns at UCA last season and entered the portal in April.
Bridges has taken official visits to Syracuse and Maryland.
Cortez Braham Jr., WR
5 of 5
Where is Cortez Braham Jr. going to land?
The rumor mill has churned out little information on the wide receiver, who reeled in 56 passes for 724 yards and four touchdowns with Nevada in 2024. It was a true breakout season for the West Virginia transfer.
Nevertheless, the 6'2", 201-pounder is still available five months after deciding to leave the Wolf Pack.
Braham's FBS production cannot be found elsewhere in the portal right now.
