Deion Sanders Rips Colorado Players in New Video from Locker Room After Win To Stay Undefeated

Colorado improved to 2-0 with Saturday's 52-21 victory over Weber State, but head coach Deion Sanders was anything but satisfied.

"And the sad thing about it, some of y'all are satisfied with that," he yelled at his players in the locker room after the win (34:55 mark). "You definitely ain't no dog. You ain't no killer. And you're definitely no pro if you can be satisfied with that. … There's going to be a lot of conditioning tomorrow. … This is not the winning recipe to win it all. You guys are happy with winning the game, I'm trying to win it all."

The most important thing for the Buffaloes is they got the win, but there was plenty to be concerned with on the defensive side.

Colorado gave up 372 total yards, as well as three touchdowns through the air from quarterback Nate Dahle. Weber State finished with 23 first downs, which was just one shy of the mark from Colorado's offense.

While Buffaloes quarterback Julian Lewis impressed at 17-of-23 for 366 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions, the team's defense is going to have to play much better than it did Saturday if it is going to accomplish Sanders' goals.

After all, Weber State is now 1-2 on the season and 1-1 in Big Sky play. The level of competition is going to get much harder for Colorado, and Saturday's defensive effort will likely lead to a handful of losses if it doesn't improve.

The Buffaloes still have to play nationally ranked foes in Texas Tech, Utah and Houston, as well as road games against Northwestern, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Arizona State and Cincinnati.

Those offenses will prove to be much more challenging than Weber State's, at least on paper, which would put plenty of pressure on Lewis and Co. to keep pace in a high-scoring game.

Still, it's better to learn lessons in victory than defeat in college football, and that is exactly what Colorado will have the chance to do after moving to 2-0 on Saturday.
