Smith Latest Cavs Guard to Deal with Injury
The 30-year-old arrived in Cleveland along with former New York Knicks teammate Iman Shumpert in a trade this last January and has blossomed into a more complete player for the Cavs. Now that Smith is reportedly back, Cleveland gets deeper on the perimeter.
Shumpert is still recovering from wrist surgery, while All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving is still on the mend as well from a knee injury. Veteran swingman James Jones provides outside shooting on the wing but is almost exclusively a three-point specialist.
Superstar LeBron James and company get another role player back in the lineup to help the team make another Finals run.
