What Are the Status of Daniel Bryan's Health and the Intercontinental Title?
Daniel Bryan's latest undisclosed injury has many wondering about his status for Extreme Rules and his WWE Intercontinental Championship defense against Bad News Barrett.
The contest had been built to in the wake of Bryan's victory at WrestleMania 31 but Bryan's latest ailments have threatened his ability to compete. Commentator Michael Cole has twice mentioned the champion's injury in passing and WWE.com has this to say about the situation: "Bryan is undergoing diagnostic testing to see if he can defend his title at Extreme Rules."
As of Sunday morning, there has been no change in that official statement. Earlier in the week, PWInsider Elite (h/t WrestlingInc.com) reported that Bryan will miss four weeks of ring time.
If that is accurate, it will be interesting to see how WWE handles the IC title situation. Will they go the predictable route and have the leader of the Yes Movement forfeit the title to Barrett? Or will they find a suitable replacement for Bryan, perhaps in the form of Neville, who defeated Barrett in tag team action on Thursday's SmackDown?

Can Roman Reigns Overcome Feud With Big Show to Regain Main Event Momentum?
At WrestleMania 31, Roman Reigns battled Brock Lesnar in an epic WWE World Heavyweight Championship match that became an instant classic. The following night on Raw, he emerged from the stands to team with Ryback and Randy Orton to crush The Authority and avenge Seth Rollins' cashing in of Money in the Bank to cost him the title.
Then, strangely enough, he was tossed into a rivalry with the slow, plodding Big Show that struggled to capture the interest of the audience, largely due to the fact that nobody cares about the World's Largest Athlete at this point in his career.
In order to get back to the status he enjoyed heading into WrestleMania, Reigns will have to deliver a performance even more impressive than the one that earned him praise at the Showcase of the Immortals. To regain momentum, he will have to do the unthinkable and get a great match out of Big Show, who has been on a cold streak in terms of match quality.
The booking of Reigns will be imperative in the weeks that follow Extreme Rules, but for him to really achieve the greatness so many expect from him, it all starts with a exemplary performance against the giant Sunday night.

Who Will Benefit From Kane's Involvement in the WWE World Heavyweight Title Match?
When Kane was announced by Triple H as the "guardian of the gate" for the Steel Cage WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Randy Orton, it confirmed that the Big Red Corporate Demon from Hell would get involved in the main event of Extreme Rules.
Now, just hours away from the championship clash, the question remains: Which Superstar will benefit most from Kane's involvement?
Will it be Orton, who wins the title as the dissension with The Authority tears the powerful faction apart? Or will it be Rollins, who retains the gold with the assistance of the Director of Operations, their issues set aside in the name of what is best for business?
Kane has recently shown flashes of the demon that has terrorized WWE for the better part of two decades. He could unleash frustration on either one of the competitors in Sunday's main event, if not both.
While all eyes should be on Orton and Rollins in what could be an extraordinary contest, the talk coming out of Extreme Rules is likely to center around Kane and whatever role he plays in the outcome of the main event.
