Patriots Parade 2015: Date, Live Stream Info and Anticipated Player Reactions

Joseph ZuckerFeb 2, 2015

No Super Bowl victory is complete without the celebratory parade.

So far, details surrounding the New England Patriots' commemoration are somewhat scant. According to WHDH in Boston, the parade was originally scheduled begin at 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday morning. Andrew Ryan of The Boston Globe then reported that the parade will take place on Wednesday:

No television or live stream info has been revealed as of yet.

The Boston Globe posted a map of the route the Patriots will use for the parade:

Although the show must go on despite the bad weather in Boston, the city has decided to rein in the celebrations by cutting the rally at City Hall that would have followed the parade. The logistics behind clearing out all of the snow are simply too complicated for the city.

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh spoke about how hard it'll be simply for the famous duck boats to navigate their way through downtown.

"We'll make sure the duck boats get through the snow," he said, per The Associated Press, (h/t BostonHerald.com). "We'll probably have plows in front of them, behind them, beside then, next to them, under them."

As a result of that development, the Patriots players won't have as much of a chance to individually revel in their Super Bowl triumph.

If the festivities are just limited to the parade, the likes of quarterback Tom Brady, tight end Rob Gronkowski, head coach Bill Belichick and cornerback Malcolm Butler won't be taking to the microphone to thank the team's fans and have a little bit more fun.

For Brady and Belichick, though, Super Bowl parades are becoming old hat. They'll enjoy it, of course, but they're unlikely to do anything crazy on Tuesday.

Plus, Belichick's probably savoring his more unreserved moments outside of the public eye, per Ben Volin of The Boston Globe:

Gronk and Butler are different cases. They've never reached the NFL mountaintop before, so they'll probably be a little more uninhibited.

Gronk is basically a 25-year-old man-child, and everybody loves him for it. Just look at him after the game:

He also told CNN's Rachel Nichols that he doesn't plan on stopping the party anytime soon:

On Monday, Gronkowski tweeted that he's already relishing the offseason:

Even though he'll be limited by the duck boat, you can bet that Gronk will be Gronk and do something crazy. As a precaution, nobody should give him the Vince Lombardi Trophy in case he gets the urge to spike it in celebration.

Butler is a little more of a wild card. He was the surprise hero on Sunday night and will go down in Super Bowl lore for his goal-line interception. He may never be in this position again, especially with regard to the way in which he impacted the game.

The New York Giants cut wide receiver David Tyree a little over a year after his famous Super Bowl XLII catch, and linebacker Mike Jones played only three more seasons in the league after his last-second tackle on Kevin Dyson in Super Bowl XXXIV.

Butler will be the man of the hour in downtown Boston. Plenty of Patriots fans will line the streets to salute the 24-year-old.

Although he's probably not going to rage as hard as Gronk, it'll take more than a little snow to wipe what will be a permanent smile off Butler's face on Tuesday.
