Pittsburg Pirates Are a Team That Doesn't Exist
I don't know if this organization really exists. I mean they do feel a team, pay player and staff salaries, and own a ball park in Pittsburgh. Every year they field a team which competes and wins the celler usually in the National League Central division. They have uniforms and real players who attempt to play the best to their ability. The problem is this team has not won eighty games since the early ninties. The organization is always trading its best players just as they are starting to develope. They traded Jack Wilson, Jason Bay, Freddie Sanchez, one or both of the Laroache brothers it doesn't really matter. This organization just doesn't erxist as they never are serious about fielding a championship quality ballclub...ever.
Fans in Pittsburgh do not deserve to have to be fans for a group like this. Every fan base should expect that the General Manager will try to the best of his ability to get the team to win. It seems to me the Pirates try the best to not spend money for future stars that may develope. How can you ever expect a winner if this is their philophosphy. It is awful that other major League teams even have to play games against this team. It would be like playing the Louisville Redbirds or the Birmingham Barons. It is not fair to fans in St Louis or Houston to see their team play against minor league teams. No wonder these teams along with the Chicago Cubs always seem to have good records. You can add perhaps ten extra easy automatic victories just in the numerous games they are lucky to play against the Bucs. perhaps add another ten for the Cincinatti Reds and what you have is an average ballclub ten to fifeteen games over .500.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
The Pirates are in an endless future building construction program and they will never be able to afford a big payroll. The only thing they can do is sell the club to a New York billionare and have them move the team to New York. There are perhaps five or six teams that shouldmove to bigger markets with One baseball team already. I would be willing to say the New York Pirates or the Los Angelas Royals would have bigger payrolls and more winning incentive. It would be bad for the tiny markets to lose their team but best for baseball. Surely. these small markets could get a minor league team and be able to compete in their respective new leagues.
