Survivor returns Sept. 23 with the premiere of what is being described as its "Open Era." Terrones noted host Jeff Probst said that means, "Anything that's ever happened on Survivor can happen again—at any time, in any order, without warning."
In Pinsky's profile for the show, he uses "enthusiastic, strategic, driven" when asked for three words to describe him. He also said he has been a devoted fan of the show for decades and even played Survivor with his friends when he was eight years old.
"When I was 28, my marriage proposal to my wife Becky incorporated a Probst catchphrase," Pinsky continued. "Getting to actually live this dream for real is a one-of-one life experience, and the thrill of this type of adventure sets my heart on fire!"
The 32-year-old has been with the Yankees in some role since January 2017 and was promoted to assistant director of baseball operations in 2022.
Now he can add Survivor contestant to that baseball-filled resume.
