Jonas Gray Credited with Patriots' 1st 200-Yard Rushing Game Since 1983
New England Patriots running back Jonas Gray benefited from a stat correction to Sunday's 42-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts, bumping his rushing yards for the game from 199 to 201, while his carries were reduced from 38 to 37.
With his new yardage total, Gray is the first Patriots player since 1983 to record 200 or more rushing yards in a single game, per ESPN Stats & Info.
In fact, Gray is just the third player to ever rush for that many yards as a Patriot, with his 201 rushing yards coming in behind just Tony Collins' 212 (Sept. 1983) and Jim Nance's 208 (Oct. 1966) on the franchise single-game list, per pro-football-reference.com's play index.

Of the three 200-yard performances, Gray's was easily the least likely, as the 24-year-old former undrafted free agent had just 131 career rushing yards (all this season) entering Sunday's game.
The 200-yard games recorded by Collins and Nance were significantly less surprising, given that both players made the Pro Bowl and topped 1,000 rushing yards in the respective seasons.
In addition to earning the No. 3 spot on New England's single-game rushing list, Gray became the first player since Herb Henderson of the 1921 Evansville Crimson Giants to score the first four rushing touchdowns of his career in one game.
Gray also recorded just the third performance of 37 or more carries in Patriots history, with his 37 falling just short of Curtis Martin's 40 (Sept. 1997) and Nance's 38 (Oct. 1966), per pro-football-reference.com's play index.
