NFL Trade Rumors: Final Reports Before 2014 Deadline End Time
Rebuilds are about to receive a kick start and contenders are about to boost their title chances in the waning hours before the 2014 NFL trade deadline.
Of course, the rumor mill is on fire.
There are sellers who clearly have an eye on next year. Who can blame the Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and more for waving the white flag at the halfway point of the season?

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There are potential buyers—such as the New England Patriots—that hope to pad their postseason chances after strong starts.
All allegedly, of course. There may not be a Percy Harvin-type deal, but the market's final moments this year seem to have plenty in store.
Corey Lemonier Out of the Bay?

So it goes for one of the deepest teams in the NFL.
The San Francisco 49ers have a good problem at hand, in that there are simply too many quality linebackers on the roster.
To rectify the situation and better reinforce other spots, there seems to be a belief that the front office will look to move 2013 third-round pick Corey Lemonier, per Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com:
"With the NFL trade deadline approaching on Tuesday, Lemonier becomes the most likely trade possibility for the 49ers, according to a source.
There’s no role for Lemonier, who would become the team’s fifth outside linebacker behind Smith, Ahmad Brooks, Aaron Lynch and Dan Skuta.
"
There should be an obvious interest in Lemonier, as he has yet to truly be given a proper shot. Scouts around the league know that the Auburn product is talented, even if he has failed to break through a deep depth chart in San Francisco, most recently getting passed by Aaron Lynch as the team's pass-rushing specialist.
Lemonier has one sack to date and loads of potential, so there is an outside shot that he comes at a rather cheap cost. San Francisco would rather get something than nothing at all in exchange for the young linebacker as it looks to make room for the returns of Aldon Smith, Marcus Lattimore, Glenn Dorsey and NaVorro Bowman in the coming weeks.
Vincent Jackson Has Suitors
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having a fire sale, where apparently everything must go and the entire league is invited.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport sums up the situation best:
The real focal point here is veteran wideout Vincent Jackson, as Doug Martin figures to stick around as he continues to have a very affordable contract and touts ridiculous upside. The same goes for Mark Barron, who is certainly not the weak link in the secondary and would demand a hefty price tag.
Jackson, though, might just get moved.
Now 31 years old, Jackson surely would not mind a move off the one-win Buccaneers to join a contender. He has just two scores and 357 yards this year thanks to an iffy situation under center, dramatic decreases in all areas in comparison to his usual output.
Rapoport recently reported on NFL GameDay Morning that a few high-profile teams might be in the mix for Jackson—at the right price—as recorded by Kevin Patra of NFL.com:
"They (Eagles and Seahawks) are making calls, and I'm told they are not alone. The name to focus on for the trade deadline: Vincent Jackson. He is, from what I understand, he is generating more phone calls than anyone. You mentioned the Seahawks, you mentioned the Eagles, the Patriots are also among the more than four teams calling for the star No. 1 receiver.
From what I understand, the Bucs would be willing to trade Vincent Jackson -- who's making $10 million this year and set to make as much next year -- for the right price. So what would that be? A second-round pick.
"
As the Buccaneers look to hit the reset button, it makes sense to get rid of Jackson's contract, especially as he was on his way out sooner rather than later with the team drafting a very similar player in rookie Mike Evans.
Really, a second-round pick is a dream scenario, but crazier things have happened. Perhaps a wideout-needy team such as the Patriots or Cleveland Browns will cave to the demands right at the deadline.
Justin Tuck Part of the Blowup Plans?
Despite being in just his first year with the Oakland Raiders, veteran defensive end Justin Tuck is already the subject of a number of whispers at the trade deadline.
The first report came from Bleacher Report's Jason Cole in the video above, as he mentions the fact the Raiders realize the mistake they made last offseason by investing in a number of veterans rather than actually going through a rebuild with younger players.
Tuck is 31 years old at this point, and while that is not the problem, there is plenty of value to his play that may attract other teams to the table. While he has just two sacks on the year, Tuck has done well in a number of other areas, which has allowed him to come in as the No. 10 overall defensive end this season at Pro Football Focus (subscription required).
Due just $5 million next season, per Spotrac, Tuck is a great value as a rotational piece for a contender in need at the position, such as the Arizona Cardinals. Remember, this is the guy who posted 11 sacks just one season ago in a quality situation.
Like anything else at the deadline, though, it is going to take the right offer to pry Tuck from the Raiders, a team that seems ready to admit its flawed approach to one of the league's most extensive rebuilds.
