Game 6 Preview and Prediction

Is Madison Bumgarner unhittable, or are the Royals just in a severe slump at the wrong time? For Kansas City's sake, it better be the former.
While Bumgarner has torched the Royals lineup twice in the World Series, Kansas City may have better luck with Jake Peavy set to take the mound in Game 6. Peavy certainly wasn't terrible against the Royals early in Game 2, giving up two runs through five innings. Although, he fell apart in the sixth, paving the way to a five-run inning and allowing Kansas City to run away with the game.
The Royals can be a very streaky team. Sometimes this works for them, and sometimes it works against them. If Peavy continues to be susceptible to giving up runs in the middle innings, it could lead to a red-hot Royals team late in Game 6.
SportsCenter tweeted Peavy's inability to get through a full six innings in the postseason:
Due to Bumgarner's complete game, the Giants bullpen is very well-rested heading into Game 6. Should Peavy go a strong six innings, San Francisco could call upon the dominant combination of Sergio Romo, Jeremy Affeldt and Santiago Casilla to close out the game—and possibly the series.
Yordano Ventura will take the mound for Kansas City in Game 6. The rookie has an excellent arm, capable of reaching speeds in excess of 100 mph. He performed very well in Game 2 despite a very shaky start.
Ventrua remained composed on the mound in his previous start despite giving up a home run to Gregor Blanco in the first at-bat of the game. However, he settled down nicely, allowing a total of eight hits and two earned runs through 5.1 innings. From there, a dominant Royals bullpen closed out the win.
If the rookie is able to put up a similar performance in Game 6, the combination of Kelvin Herrera, Wade Davis and Greg Holland should be able to seal the deal and force a Game 7. Although, that's not anywhere near a certainty due to the consistent efforts at the plate from Pablo Sandoval and Hunter Pence.
The rookie certainly seems confident prior to pitching the biggest game of his career, via MLB:
Kansas City thrives in an environment where it can get a rhythm going. Coming home to Kauffman Stadium in front of a roaring, friendly crowd should be enough to get this lineup back on track and fluster Peavy enough to get the win and even the series.
Prediction: Royals 6, Giants 3
