Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
McKinnon proved to be the far more effective rusher against the Buccaneers. His average of 5.2 yards per carry was a direct result of his explosiveness and sound decision-making ability. ESPN's Ben Goessling tweeted his thoughts on the running back's performance:
With McKinnon solidified as the top option out of the backfield, he should be considered a solid RB2 with RB1 upside against porous run defenses going forward
Asiata didn't fare so well. He only received four carries and gained a total of just one yard. While he did get some work as a receiver, his value as a viable fantasy option has quickly diminished. With McKinnon taking the reins in the backfield, Asiata should only be considered a handcuff.
