Kauffman Stadium Vendor Slings Peanuts with Extreme Accuracy at World Series
Kansas City may have a secret relief pitcher working the aisles at Kauffman Stadium.
YouTube user Peruanodan (h/t Deadspin’s Kevin Draper) uploaded video of a Kansas City peanut vendor slinging protein-packed bullets at fans in the balcony during Game 1 of the World Series.

One crow hop, and boom—the vendor sends a Sexy Rexy fastball into the troposphere and nails his receiver square in the mitts.
His exhibition couldn’t have come at a better time, either. The Royals rested squarely in a deep hole at this juncture in Game 1, and every Royals fan in the stadium needed something—anything—to cheer for at the time.
As Peruanodan writes in the YouTube description of the event, it was the lone bright spot in an otherwise miserable 7-1 Kansas City loss.
"I’m a huge Royals fan, but Game 1 was a stinker…fans in the right field corner were treated to this stellar exhibition from some random peanut man who clearly understood that the section needed something to be happy about. I’m sad to say that this was the only highlight I was able to enjoy in my first-ever trip to a World Series game.
"
Sorry for your loss, Royals bro. And good on you, Peanut Man.
Being a roving vendor is what I imagine to be a tough gig. Sure, you get glutes of steel from carrying snacks up and down a giant, concrete StairMaster all day, but unlike most stadium employees, your profit margin is tied firmly to your level of hustle. You've got to want it.
Peanut Man wanted it. He’s honed his craft down to a laser-guided art. No one throws nuts on a tighter rope than Peanut Man.
