Atletico Madrid vs. Malmo: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview
Matters couldn't be tighter in Group A heading into the third matchday of this season's Champions League, with Malmo travelling to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
Along with Juventus and Olympiakos, the pair have each won and lost a game thus far. All teams are tied on three points apiece, with just two goals separating the goal difference of the top and bottom outfits in the standings.
This week's encounters should pull the four sides apart as they all go in search of qualification for the knockout stages. An away result at the Vicente Calderon would put Malmo in an extremely advantageous position.

Key Players to Watch
Atletico Madrid: Koke

Continuing to thrive as a more and more essential part of Diego Simeone's lineup, Koke's ascendancy has entered new heights this season.
The 22-year-old puppeteer has always given a very balanced account of his abilities at the core of Atleti's midfield, and he was recently nominated for La Liga's Best Attacking Midfielder of 2013-14 award, per Inside La Liga:
Yet to miss a minute of Los Rojibancos' Champions League campaign thus far, the budding talisman should be in place to pull his team's strings against Malmo on Wednesday.
According to WhoScored.com, Koke holds a passing accuracy of just under 85 percent in Europe so far this term, grabbing one assist en route to amassing such an impressive ratio.
As long as he turns up at his best, Atletico should run out as firm victors against the Swedes. Among a squad striving to attain consistency, Koke stands out among the most reliable characters.
Malmo: Markus Rosenberg

Having come away from their Week 1 fixture in Turin with a 2-0 loss to Juventus, Malmo found their shooting boots against Olympiakos last time out, beating the Greeks 2-0.
Or at least Markus Rosenberg did, netting both finishes as the Swedish giants clinched their first goals and points of the Champions League season.
Having endured a disappointing 18 months at West Brom, Rosenberg has seen his career revitalised since moving back to Boyhood club Malmo in February of this year. Johanna Gara of The Guardian this week quoted the striker as saying:
"I have been away for 10 years. The timing was right. I got tired of being abroad when I didn’t play football for a year and a half. It’s easier to be at home when things don’t work out. Malmo had something really good going on. I joined an already a strong team which only lacked a striker. I wanted to contribute to the team of my heart. I joined the club when I was five.
"
With that kind of soulful connection to a club, there's no telling just what the 32-year-old is willing to give for Malmo's cause, an understated weapon in football at times.
Atletico's defence has the potential to be a stingy machine, and if Wednesday's visitors are to provide an upset, Rosenberg's performance in front of goal will play a critical role.
