Peyton Manning Didn't Like the 49ers Calling a Late Timeout in Blowout Loss
At this point in his career, Peyton Manning is familiar with pretty much every coach in the NFL.
He’s played every team in the league time and again. If it can be called on the football field, he’s seen it twice.
Regardless, Manning seems to have forgotten who is coaching the San Francisco 49ers these days. The Denver Broncos quarterback became visibly perturbed in the final minutes of the fourth quarter when Jim Harbaugh called a timeout to stop the clock with his team losing 42-10.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Next Impulse Sports' Sean Wagner-McGough spotted Adam Bintner's video of Manning’s reaction. Feel free to attempt some amateur lip-reading.
Manning appeared to be wondering why in the hot, sweating goodness a team down 32 points with three minutes left would look to draw out the game. What kind of maniacal loon would stop the clock just to prove a point? Who calls a spite timeout?
This man.
Jim Harbaugh stopped the game for no reason other than to remind his team and his opponents that he never quits.
Manning, who broke Brett Favre's all-time touchdown record before handing over the reins to backup Brock Osweiler, clearly didn't appreciate the holdup. He had places to go, chicken parms to eat.
The Broncos starter was all but in a robe and slippers when San Francisco had the gall to pretend something could happen.

Nope. Harbaugh does not—cannot—quit.
If there’s one coach who will rage against the dying of the light 10 times out of 10, it’s the man in the parachute khakis. Jim Harbaugh will not go quietly into that sweet night—not so Manning can get back in time for a hot toddy and some evening C-SPAN.
