Arsenal's injury woes continued as Jack Wilshere was forced to leave the pitch at the Emirates on Saturday with a serious-looking knee injury, with the Gunners losing 2-1 to Hull City.

As reported by Fox Soccer, the English midfielder was forced off after a clumsy challenge on Gaston Ramirez after 68 minutes of play:

Indeed, ESPN's John Brewin points out that it was very much self-inflicted from Wilshere, the 22-year-old no doubt frustrated by the match situation as Arsenal were losing:

Bleacher Report's James McNicholas reports that the injury isn't serious:

Arsenal's fans and management can take some comfort from the fact that Wilshere was able to walk down the tunnel rather than be stretchered off.

The Gunners faced up to Hull with a makeshift defence including Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal, due to Laurent Koscielny's injury and Calum Chambers' suspension.

Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsey's shock inclusion on the bench was a boon after the Welshman's thigh troubles. However, all involved at the Emirates will be hoping for a quick recovery from Wilshere, especially with Champions League football returning in the coming week.
