Danny Welbeck To Prove His Striking Credentials

Ultimately, Danny Welbeck's move away from Manchester United was of little surprise when Arsenal knocked at his door.
The player has been on the cusp of becoming a very good footballer for a long time but his growth had been stunted by his lack of a position at Old Trafford.
But he has shone in an England shirt on many occasions and now, as the Gunners' main goalscorer, he can further prove to be the player many thought he would become.
Welbeck has five goals in as many games for club and country, per ESPN FC, and he will be the central threat against Estonia on Sunday evening.

Welbeck's all-round play has always been very good but his lack of a finish has been well documented. However, Roy Hodgson has always shown faith in the player and has paired him with Wayne Rooney on many occasions.
Ian Dennis of the BBC recently quoted Welbeck and his preference of playing as the main striker:
The move to Arsenal will surely see Welbeck improve his goalscoring credentials with a cast of creative midfielders feeding him. The next year will be vital in Welbeck's development as he attempts to prove that Louis van Gaal's sacrifice of him was a huge mistake.
Estonia's frail defence will have a torrid time against a resurgent Welbeck and company, and Roy Hodgson will be looking for a straightforward win from his players.
Match Preview

Estonia will be bitterly disappointed not to take away at least a share of the points after their 1-0 loss against rivals, Lithuania.
They know that automatic qualification for the Euros was considered almost impossible previously, but with Switzerland losing their opening two games, the group has been blown wide open.
Estonia sit in fourth place in Group E, per Goal.com, and they know that a shock win against England would propel them up the table.

England have done what they have needed to do at present and sit at the top of the group. San Marino were never going to cause the Three Lions any issues and the team will be confident going into their match with Estonia.
Wayne Rooney is closing in on Bobby Charlton's international goalscoring record and he will be looking to add to his tally on Sunday, breaking Estonian resistance in the process.
However, a win for the home side will see them draw level with Hodgson's team and give them the perfect base for a top-three finish, giving them a realistic chance of qualification.
England should have far too much firepower to lose the game and should prove they are a class above their opponents. In the past, England have struggled in these type of matches, lacking an intensity and focus, but they showed against San Marino they are comfortably in their groove.
