Twitter Reacts to Cristiano Ronaldo's Performance vs. Deportivo La Coruna
Real Madrid cruised to an 8-2 victory over Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday, with Cristiano Ronaldo providing three of his side's goals in just his third La Liga appearance of the campaign.
The Portuguese captain came into the Estadio Riazor with just two league goals in his two games prior, but as Real's official Twitter account confirmed, his tally was swiftly doubled and then some thanks to Depor's unravelling:

Los Merengues found themselves three goals to the good at the half-time interval, Ronaldo having scored two while James Rodriguez bagged his third for the club, too.
It was in the second period that Carlo Ancelotti's talisman grabbed his third, however, Twitter illustrating just what a rare source of hat-tricks the marvel has become over the course of his career:
None of his scored treble were bad, per se, but Ales Shaw of ESPN posted footage of arguably the finest finish, a long-range header that took some substantial steering from so far out:
Despite the spread of goals, though, ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan still didn't see Ronaldo as the man of the moment, however, instead picking a non-scorer as his most critical character:
It's a clear sign that despite any speculation or rumours that relate to the player off the pitch, he'd most certainly appear to be enjoying his time on it.
Rob Harris of the Associated Press jested that this served as a clear indicator Ronaldo wants a return to Old Trafford in 2015, highlighting that his performance would suggest all is well as of yet in Spain:
Having won La Liga's Pichichi trophy last season as top goalscorer, Ronaldo is once again edging the race to retain his title this time around, Corrigan pointing out Lionel Messi's inferior ratio:
As Real Madrid TV presenter Rhiannon Jones attests, it also marked a first for Ronaldo in managing to score at the Riazor, an achievement which had eluded him up until Saturday's mauling:
As his record would suggest, Ronaldo remains in a rich vein of scoring form and current momentum means it's not likely to be the last time we see his name on the scoresheet three times or more in any single match.
Only four games into the campaign and already the Real Madrid maestro is breaking scoring barriers once again, with a whole season yet to come undoubtedly full of similarly scintillating displays.
