World Cup 2014 Closing Ceremony Start Time, Date and Live Stream Info
The World Cup is almost at its end, and with Sunday's final between Germany and Argentina also comes the closing ceremony celebrations.
In advance of the Maracana curtain call, a selection of artists both native to host nation Brazil and otherwise will perform in tribute to the tournament, described by some as the best of its kind to date.
Over the past month, allegiances have been split and the competition has been fierce, but football fans can once again come together for the closing ceremony festivities, beginning 30 minutes prior to our finale kickoff.
Date: Sunday, July 13
Time: 7:30 p.m. BST/2:30 p.m. ET
Live Stream: BBC Sport website or ITV Player (UK), ESPN Watch (U.S.)
TV Info: BBC One or ITV (UK), ABC (U.S.)
Shakira is the headline act for Sunday's entertainment, ready to star in her third World Cup closing ceremony in succession, having already brought an end to the 2006 and 2010 competitions.
There, she'll perform her World Cup track "La La La (World Cup 2014)" in tribute to what's been a stellar tournament, and she spoke of her joy at being selected for such an occasion earlier this month, per BBC News:
"I have an intricate relationship with football for obvious reasons, and I truly understand what the World Cup means to so many people, myself included.
The fans have shown the most incredible support for this song and I can't wait to perform it for them.
"
From a supporting perspective, the World Cup has been a disappointment for Shakira, who had to watch partner Gerard Pique exit the running with the rest of his Spain squad at the group stage before then seeing her native Colombia ousted by hosts Brazil in the quarter-finals.
However, any resentment will assuredly be long forgotten by Sunday, replaced by a stronger acknowledgement of the unifying powers that sport possesses.

As journalist Tariq Panja indicates, the South American singer records something of an incredible hat-trick on Sunday:
Shakira won't be the only superstar on display, however, as Wyclef Jean and Carlos Santana prepare to team up alongside Brazil's Alexandre Pires for a performance of the official World Cup anthem, "Dar Um Jeito."
The closing ceremony will also feature a Samba performance from a group of Rio de Janeiro schoolchildren along with an assortment of Brazilian songs performed by Grammy Award winner Ivete Sangalo.
