10 Scorching MLB Takes 🌶️

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
With a day off on Monday, hopefully the Milwaukee Brewers got the rest they ever so needed. Lord knows they got the help they needed when both St. Louis and Chicago lost. The Cardinals loss pulls them back to within a game and if things go well tonight, they could tie the Cards for first. Fingers crossed.
And the interleague continues at home With Jeff Suppan trying to right the Brewers course tonight. Suppan looks to continue his winning ways in June, as he is 2-0 with two non-decisions.
And does anyone remember 2007? Not last year, when the Crew MADE the playoffs, but 2007, when the Brewers started 24-10, had an eight game division lead, and did not qualify for the post season. I know, I know, it’s hard to remember how bad the Brewers flopped only two years ago, but 620 WTMJ is here to remind you of that, because it appears that this years team is doing it all over again! Adam McCalvy of Brewers.com is writing on the Prince Fielder, the most consistent hitter in the lineup at this time. Fielder is continually focused on his consistency and doesn’t want to only be a long ball hitter. Read up!
JSOnline is reporting the Brewers are hard at work today trying to figure out what they are going to do to fill two rotation spots. Blogged here.
Right Field Bleachers reports that the Brewers must fill out the rotation and name a fifth starter. RFB goes through an expansive list of internal affairs–er options. He believes that the decision must be made tonight, since Bush is now going to miss his start as well. Check it.
Another problem the Brewers rotation has an overabundance of are short starts. The team compiled a Major League-best 25 quality starts in their first 39 games but has notched just seven in the 29 games since. And of course, the reason the starts are so short is because the Crew are giving up runs. This needs to stop! Read onMilwaukee.com.
In the All Star voting, Ryan Braun still holds on to second in voting, and seems to be a lock for the midsummer classic! Prince Fielder would most likely need the players and coaches vote to get in. Yovani Gallardo and Trevor Hoffman also have a shot and an appearance. Check out MLB.com.
If you’re going to the game today don’t forget to check this out. The Brewers unveiling a new monument at Miller Park today at 1:00 PM. The monument is honoring the 1901 Milwaukee Brewers and will sit on the plaza in front of the Miller Park Home Plate Gate. In 1902, the Brewers moved to St. Louis and became the Browns. They then moved to Baltimore in 1954 and became the Baltimore Orioles. The unveiling is open to the media and invited guests only. Read more here.
And let’s close on this, just because I LOVE the headline, and of course, the picture, as seen below! HAHAHA!
