Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels Dealing With Favre Saga
Even Minnesota Vikings quarterbacks Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels can't escape questions about the status of "Number 4".
Jackson and Rosenfels who are supposed to compete for the Vikings' starting quarterback spot have been placed on the back burner by the media.
This of course is because of the current ongoing saga of retired, three time MVP quarterback, Brett Favre.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Whom some feel is on the brink of ending his second retirement to play for the Minnesota Vikings in 2009.
Rosenfels, who was acquired during the 2008 off-season in Free agency for a Vikings Fourth Round draft pick, wasn't guaranteed the starting QB position but at least a shot.
Something the nine year pro has never been given since his emergence into the league.
Sage Rosenfels has played for three other teams: the Washington Redskins, the Miami Dolphins, and the Houston Texans before being traded to the 2008 NFC North division champion Vikings.
Tavaris Jackson, has also been criticized for his quarterback play, or lack there of in some cases.
The four year pro started last year as the starter for two games, only to get replaced by veteran journey man Gus Frerotte for the most part of the season.
However the young QB returned in week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals, with a stellar performance , replacing Frerotte after the 37 year-old suffered an injury side lining him for the remainder of the season.
Jackson has improved in his three years at quarterback however, improving his quarterback rating overall.
Finishing 2008 with a 95.1% QB rating and improving with 1,056 passing yards, 9 Touchdowns, and only 2 Interceptions.
But the two quarterback competitors can't escape questions about the possibility of future Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre joining the Vikings for the 2009-2010 season.
Asked about Brett Favre joining the Vikings, Sage Rosenfels had this to say to Yahoo Sports.com: "Uncertainty is never a good thing, but again I cant control what the head coach or GM does. They're going to make decisions. One day when I'm a head coach or I'm a GM, I'll be making decisions. But right now I'm just a quarterback."
Tavaris Jackson admitted to Yahoo Sports.com that he has been using the weight room to help with the stress of all the current quarterback talk involving Favre.
Jackson like many NFL fans wants some insite, saying "Like any situation you're in, you want to know. But I guess it's not their job to tell me. So I'll just go out here and try and get better."
However in a league such as the NFL, Jackson understands it 's something he cant control.
Jackson who is fighting for the Vikings starting QB position, was also quoted saying that: "I won't lie and say that it don't bother me, but I kind of got used to it."
For two quarterbacks competing for the starting position to a franchise in much need of a decent QB, they have sure been able to handle the pressure.
Meaning the continual questions regarding the status of Brett Favre, and the possibility of him coming out of a second retirement for a 19th season to lead the Vikings.
However, if the Minnesota Vikings coaching staff and management are not carefull in the way they handle their involvement in the Brett Favre Saga, they could have two un-happy quarterbacks on their hands come regular season time.
