Futbol Chronicles: Cristiano Ronaldo's Departure Won't Affect Man United
Manchester United will not suffer and go down the tubes once the storied club sells Cristiano Ronaldo.
The club is in the position to strengthen within and perhaps sign at least three or four quality players to replace the Portuguese whiz kid. The very thought of Manchester not being able to recover from such a sale is not only laughable; it's also ridiculous.
This is the same club that is being managed by one of the greats in football management, Sir Alex Ferguson; his track record and ability to find and successfully foster new and emerging talent speak for themselves.

Manchester United would have about £90 million or so to spend if things go their way. If any, a couple of signings for the wing position, possibly an attacking fullback, and a new striker to replace the failing Dimitar Berbatov are about all Ferguson would have to do.
He wouldn't have to spend half of what Ronaldo could be sold for if he plays his cards right.
Ferguson could instead follow in Arsene Wenger's footsteps in signing another young lad who is yet to make himself known but has the mass potential to blossom into a top performer.
Ferguson has been known to unearth talent of that pedigree before, so the thinking should be that he won't find it as difficult to strengthen if he as to.
Players such as Irish wizard Aiden McGeady from Celtic, Antonio Valencia from Wigan, Stewart Downing from Middlesbrough, and Micah Richards from Manchester City are just a few choices among the many young quality talents that Ferguson can vouch for in the transfer market at the right price.
A betting man would argue that Ferguson would have the best of luck of signing both Downing and Valencia, since both are versatile wing players who can provide the width for Manchester.
Richards could be a harder talent to grab a hold of unless the Eastlanders would be willing to consider a proposed offer.
Ferguson knows his ways when it comes to finding a perfect balance with his players and the mark up of a team, so Ronaldo's eventual departure won't affect Manchester as much you'd to believe.
