Football Betting: Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

Ronaldo Assis de Moreira Jun 1, 2009

We gave it our best efforts, but, sadly, we fell just short of the £200 profit margin we had wanted to cross at the end of the weekend. That’s life.

The FA Cup final proved to be a far better game than many had anticipated, in the main due to the two early goals from Saha and Drogba, and the Ivorian’s header combined with Chelsea’s eventual triumph handed us almost a £40 profit. Also coming up trumps were goalscorers David Villa and Diego Forlan, two strikers who will command a lot of demand this summer.

But, on the downside, predictions for over 2.5 goals were proved naive after Werder won a tight German Cup final and Juventus-Lazio ended 2-0 to the Old Lady.

Thankfully, though, over the weekend, we had an epiphany. Just because the domestic season has ended, that doesn’t mean the football season has stopped. Football never stops. And, so remains the opportunity to make more money.

Do you like money? Fancy a few extra rubles in your pocket? Well, do something about it. Click on this link, make the minimum deposit, get your free bets, and put your money where your mouth is.

England’s U19 pups take on their Scottish counterparts on Monday night at Brammall Lane in an important match to decide which country will be represented at the European U19 Championship Finals this summer. The extra-spicy “Battle of Britain” is the first time since Euro ‘00 qualification that the two countries have met at any level, but, on paper, at least, England appear to have the edge.

Boasting footballers with high level experience, including Aston Villa’s Nathan Delfouneso and Crystal Palace’s Victor Moses, as well as a splattering of future-talents-of-tomorrow (Arsenal’s Gavin Hoyte and Newcastle’s Nile Ranger), the Young Lions should emerge victorious.

Tipping England to win (4/9) and that England will score first (1/3) we are staking £10 in an effort to claim a £19.26 return.

Tuesday night sees France playing host to Nigeria in a friendly, and following on from Ronaldo’s match preview, betting on the Super Eagles seems like too good of an opportunity to miss. Betting against Les Bleus picking up the win, we are hedging our bets by placing two separate £5 bets on Nigeria to either draw (13/5) or win (9/2), hoping for returns of either £18 or £27.50.
