Toulon Tournament 2013: France vs. Portugal Date, Time, Live Stream and TV Info
While both sides would rather be in the championship match of the Toulon Tournament, France and Portugal will be ready for the third-place match.
France was unable to win Group A after a strong start for the host team. Unfortunately, a 3-1 loss to Colombia in the final match ended the squad's hope for victory.
Meanwhile, Portugal had a tougher time from the start, with Brazil and defending champion Mexico in the group. However, the European club was able to get two wins and a draw in four matches to earn second place in the group.

France Player to Watch: Alexandre Coeff
While Alexandre Coeff only has one goal in this tournament so far, he's a big part of the team's success on a daily basis.
The midfielder has fantastic vision while attacking and the skill to put the ball where it is needed. Additionally, he has the ability to get the ball into the back of the net when he has the opportunity.
France has not been great offensively since the opening match against the United States when the team scored four goals. The squad needs Coeff to take charge more often and do his best to get the points on the board.
Portugal Player to Watch: Aladje
When Portugal truly needed someone to step up in its biggest match against Mexico, Aladje was the one to do it.
The talented player scored two equalizers in the match, and his side was eventually able to leave with a 3-3 draw. Without his contributions, the squad would not still be playing in this tournament.
Although the young forward does not have as much experience as some of the other players on the roster, he has shown plenty of ability in his short time at the international level. If he continues to perform this well, he could clearly be one of the future stars for the Portuguese national team.
Prediction: France 2, Portugal 1
This battle will truly be a clash of two very different styles of play. France utilizes a defensive approach and has kept games low-scoring, while Portugal has been one of the best offensive teams in the Toulon Tournament.
The problem is that Portugal has also struggled to keep opponents off the scoreboard, and France has the ability to take advantage of the weaker back line.
France has the home advantage and the relative experience to pull off a victory and please the fans with a third-place finish.
