Mexico vs. Wales: Mexico Will Shine in Friendly
Before things have even gotten underway in New Jersey for this international friendly, Wales has suffered too many injuries to key players to pull out a victory.
Wales will try to win their first match under new coach Chris Coleman, but chances are not looking good, with superstar Gareth Bale and goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey already ruled out of this contest.
Mexico has the better team on paper, even with Bale and Hennessey in the lineup, thanks to an offense led by Manchester United's Javier Hernandez and and Tottenham Hotspur's Giovani dos Santos.

The injuries for Wales will make this a walk in the park for the Mexican national team.
Another obstacle that will be difficult for Wales to overcome is the fact that their squad doesn't have a player over the age of 22 on it. Mexico has a team with a healthy mix of youthful and experienced talent, whereas Wales is going to bat with raw talent, an injury-struck unit and a rookie coach.
Both of the aforementioned forwards for Mexico are completing almost 87 percent of their passes this season, proving that Dos Santos and Chicharito are making smart passes with the football.
Although Dos Santos' stats are only based on seven appearances, both have proven they work well together and with their fellow teammates on the national stage—such as when they defeated the United States for the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final last year.
Obviously, this friendly with Wales doesn't have the same high stakes on the line as last year's battle with the U.S. did for Mexico, but the team doesn't want to suffer a second straight friendly defeat to what many would view as a less talented opponent. Mexico was shut out against Colombia back in February.
With two other friendlies to be played in the coming weeks against Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the showdown with Brazil at Cowboys Stadium, Mexico will want to start this U.S. tour off with a victory against Wales.
In 2011, Wales went just 5-5 in their international fixtures, losing two Euro 2012 qualifying matches, two Nations Cup bouts and one friendly against Australia.
Mexico lost just one friendly match to Brazil and won the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup last calendar year.
Wales will try their hardest to help secure Coach Coleman's first victory since joining the team, but with all of the injuries their team has suffered, along with facing a superior opponent, Mexico will be the victor at MetLife Stadium.
