Top 10 Current WWE Entrance Songs
Entrance songs signify the appearance of a superstar in the WWE. The song is associated with this superstar for the rest of their career, as it makes that big of an impact.
A good entrance song in the WWE is extremely marketable, as it can be sold to the fans. Whether the WWE has used Motorhead, Alter Bridge or Disturbed, great entrance music has been made and given to top superstars.
Here are the top 10 entrance songs for competitors currently wrestling in the WWE.
No. 10: CM Punk
1 of 10Title: Cult of Personality
Performed by: Living Colour
Personally, I was a much bigger fan of "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage, but this song is perfectly suited for CM Punk and is a classic.
The lyrics are powerful and the instrumental of the song compliments Punk's style of wrestling. Even though he seems like a heavy metal guy, this song is great too.
No. 9: Ezekiel Jackson
2 of 10Title: Domination
Performed by: Evan Jones
What do you get when you combine one of the worst conceived ideas for an event and one of the worst wrestlers in the WWE? "Domination," Ezekial Jackson's entrance song with the Brawl for All instrumental and Evan Jones rapping.
The fact of the matter is the song is good. It was creative to make a rap song out of a rock riff. The lyrics are good and the song pumps you up (unless Ezekiel Jackson is walking down the ramp, then you are just bummed out).
No. 8: Dolph Ziggler
3 of 10Title: Here to Show the World
Performed by: Downstait
Downstait has done a number of songs for the WWE, but this is by far their best. Not only is it a good song, but it fits Dolph Ziggler's "show-off personality."
The beginning of the song may be the best part, as it gets right to the point. Definitely a song you can listen to in the car or while doing homework.
No. 7: Rey Mysterio
4 of 10Title: Booyaka 619
Performed by: P.O.D.
The song is fast paced and exciting, just like Rey Mysterio's wrestling style. POD has always been one of the better alternative rock bands, and this rap-influenced rock song proves why again.
The "booyaka" in the background definitely makes the song better, making it more recognizable.
No. 6: Hunico/Camacho
5 of 10Title: Respeto
Performed by: Reychesta Secret Weapon
Although you may not be able to understand the lyrics, that doesn't mean this song is bad. In fact, it is one of my favorite theme songs. I can't really sing along, so I just speak gibberish to make up for it.
Not only is it a good song, it's quite fitting to the Mexican "gangsta" gimmicks that Hunico and Camacho have.
No. 5: Evan Bourne
6 of 10Title: Born to Win
Performed by: Mutiny Within
Maybe all of Evan Bourne's failed drug tests have come from hanging out with rock stars?
Nevertheless, Bourne's entrance song is an amazing instrumental with awesome lyrics. The guitar solo in the middle is fantastic, sounding like it is coming out of an arcade machine.
No. 4: Randy Orton
7 of 10Title: Voices
Performed by: Rev Theory
This song is quite the opposite of Rev Theory's party song, "Hell Yeah," which was the theme of Blue Mountain State. Either way, this theme is not only fitting to Orton, it is a great song.
The lyrics are great, the instrumental is powerful and the flow is perfect for a guy known as "The Apex Predator."
No. 3: Sheamus
8 of 10Title: Written in My Face
Performed by: Sean Jenness
The Irish feeling of this song and Jenness' voice make this a personal favorite of mine. The song screams anger and destruction.
The general flow is great, which has led to another amazing entrance song by the WWE. Love or hate Sheamus, you have got to love this song.
No. 2: Mark Henry
9 of 10Title: Some Bodies Gonna Get It
Performed by: Three 6 Mafia
The funny thing about this song is that it is performed by one of the most famous rap groups of all-time and it was given to Mark Henry when he was a mid-card performer. If he had got it in the middle of his World Heavyweight Championship run, that would have made more sense.
This song is typical Three 6 Mafia, as they go hard on the track and produce a great rap. It reminds me of their song for the movie Rocky Balboa titled "It's a Fight."
No. 1: Drew McIntyre
10 of 10Title: Broken Dreams
Performed by: Shaman's Harvest
Drew McIntyre may not get much TV time anymore, and he may job to almost everybody on the WWE roster, but by God is his entrance music great.
The song is eerie, but perfect. The lyrics are dark, as is the instrumental. All in all, the song is a masterpiece.
Unfortunately, we rarely hear it these days.
Let me know below in the comments what you think. Again, this is opinion, so all of this is debatable.
