Scott Hall Arrested: Former WWE Star Is Perfect Example of Wasted Talent
When Scott Hall used to walk to the wrestling ring, whether it was as Razor Ramon in WWE or Scott Hall and the nWo in WCW, there was an aura around the man that perpetuated excellence.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen; Scott Hall really is the bad guy now.
After being arrested again, the former Intercontinental champion and Tag Team champion has fallen back off the wagon. We can’t forget that after his last run-in with the law and the ESPN 60 documentary, Hall went to WWE-sponsored rehab.

Apparently, the treatment didn’t work.
TMZ first broke the story about Hall’s most recent arrest:
"According to the report, cops were called to Scott's Florida home over a domestic disturbance in progress around 5pm. When they arrived, Scott's GF Lisa Howell informed police he had attacked her. According to Lisa, Scott had been drinking for days and the two had gotten into some kind of argument. Lisa says she got into her car, and in a blind rage, Scott grabbed her by the throat and tried to pull her out of the driver's seat.
"
This is yet another sad turn in the life of one of the most promising wrestling stars to ever step into a ring. While he has become the butt of many jokes in the last few years, there is nothing funny about the way a great career was ruined and wasted by drugs and alcohol.
After proving that he was one of the best in WWE, Hall and friend Kevin Nash went to WCW to join up with the new wave of people the company was bringing in. It was during that time that Hall’s wife noted that the company was mishandling her husband addiction.
Here we are, almost 15 years later and the same problems that have plagued the star are haunting him to this day. ESPN's E:60 documentary revealed that Hall struggles with his addiction every day, and as someone who can speak from experience, it’s not easy.
The key to success with sobriety is determination and support. While Hall is getting the support, he just doesn’t want it enough.
Let’s hope he finds that drive before it’s too late.
